Same as original
This battery is the same as the original battery that came with the camera. Works the same and lasts as long or longer. It came even faster than they said and was well packaged. I am totaly satisfied with my purchase.

Web misrepresents this device
The technical details state this is a 1120 mAh battery but it's actually an 860 mAh battery. The factory Canon battery is 1120 mAh so this is an inferior battery compared to the factory original.

The battery DD/NB5L was displayed as a compatible battery for this camera it is not. The camera takes a NB 9L. Misleading advertising.

Well... for 3rd party batteries, there is nothing to complain about how it mark. They all made in China, and they all mark with the number mAh however they want to mark. If you don't like it, just go ahead an buy 1st party expensive batteries. If you want to buy 3rd party, unless it exploded, they all consider good.
