Hate to say, "Good-bye."
I purchased my Inspiron 9100 fully loaded in April of 2004. It was a rocket then, although heavy to lug for any distance. I have used it as my main PC, then my primary backup, and then as my emergency back-up. BROKEN PC
First let me say that I am sure this refurbished pc from dell would have been fine if it had arrived intact with nothing missing. It did not have the return key cover and I was unaware of this when I purchased it. I contacted the seller (Kool Krowd) and they offered me a refund of $80 total on a purchase that was over $300! I purchased my Inspiron 9100 fully loaded in April of 2004. It was a rocket then, although heavy to lug for any distance. I have used it as my main PC, then my primary backup, and then as my emergency back-up. Times change and now I need to break down and buy a new laptop (a Vostro 3700), but I can't easily say good-bye to my old 9100. It's still a workhorse, albeit with a smallish 60 gig hard drive. All I have done is six years is to replace a power supply, one battery, and repaired an F5 key.I like Dell products. It will be interesting to see how long the Vostro goes.

I always wanted that kind of laptop, Dell Inspiron 9100. I heard and saw this Inspiron about 4-5 years ago. It was very rare and heavy.I was very impressed how it performance in laptop and very powerful. I will care of the laptop very well for many years to come and keep it fully update with Windows XP Update on my Dell Inspiron 9100 Laptop. It got rebuilt with 4 new parts and run like brand new and faster. It has new Inspiron 9100/XPS motherboard, Radeon Mobility 9700 128 MB video card, 1 GB DDR @ 400 MHz, and Pentium 4 HT at 3.20 GHz 800MHz FSB, 512KB L2 caches. It add about 1 hour to battery life is total 3 1/2 hour. I am happy with that. There still have old Hard drive and WIFI card in laptop still good. No problem with all new/old hardwares.

First let me say that I am sure this refurbished pc from dell would have been fine if it had arrived intact with nothing missing. I am currently going through the return/refund process with Amazon to get my complete refund but I will never buy anything from this company due to thier poor customer service and decietfulness concerning thier listing.
