After ordering here and receiving this item (from Dell Direct), I missed the fine print. But the copy above *does* say that you need a PA-10 type power supply. As received from Dell, the item came with absolutely no documentation (or even an invoice for that matter.) So here I go ordering another $25 power adapter in order to use it. I'll be back if this isn't great.

Works just like the expensive one from Dell. No more fumbling with the laptop in the morning or evening. Just disengage and go. Thanks

My Dell Latitude D600's power supply port stopped working, and it would've cost too much to get it checked out since this laptop was usable, but getting pretty old, so I bought this port replicator and it works great. This makes the laptop less portable, if you want to have it plugged in, but it's a cheap/quick fix.

Warning to buyers though, make sure you buy the power supply for the port replicator, I thought that the power supply for my d600 would be the same as this one, but it was not the case! Make sure to buy the port replicator and it's power supply!

DID NOT ARRIVE IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING BUT, WORKS QUITE WELL. IT IS AN EXCELLENT SOLUTION FOR BROKEN POWER CONNECTOR ON YOUR LAPTOP. IT STILL REQUIRES A VALID DELL AC ADAPTER TO CHARGE THE INTERNAL BATTERY.

The customer service is awesome! I bought the item and had difficulty to slot my laptop into the cradle; not because I was getting a wrong part (that I thought earlier), but simply because I did not unlock the cradle. I email the customer service and within a day, they got back to me and provide technical support. Also, they are fair to mail me a charger which should come with the dock that did not come earlier. Overall, I am satisfied with the service and the product received.

This is a perfect mate with the New Dell D/Monitor Stand Latitude D Family 6Y667 HD058. The laptop docks firmly into the stand, and I really like the DVI port, for use with and LCD Monitor. The DVI port supports my 1440X960 monitor just fine. I bought a used one through Amazon for about $20, works great! As others have mentioned, you have to have your own power supply for this dock.

This port replicator has worked great so far and you can't beat the price with a stick. I am only able to get 1280x800 maximum resolution through the DVI-D port to my digital monitor but I'm not sure if the problem is with the replicator, my laptop, or the monitor so I'm still giving this 5 stars.

It did the job what I bought it for. My Charging port on my latitude dies and I bought this dock or port replicator to charge it.

I purchased this as one of the used seller items. It works and was relatively cheap compared to a new one. No problems so far.

Received the item quickly and in working condition. Easy to use and setup. Use it everyday without any problems.
