This item arrived in good time and was packaged securely. I slid it into my laptop and with no additional software burnt my first cd in less than 3 minutes. That's saying alot considering I've only been on the computer for about 3 months. It is easy to use and is alot quieter than my old cd/rom drive. I am glad that a few suppliers still believe in providing a quality product and this cd-rw/dvd drive is everything that was advertised and more. I would recommend this to a friend. Thanks Power Optical and Amazon.

Dell make's some fairly long lasting products. I purchased this used to replace the one I broke (yes, it was me not Dell) for my old 500mhz Dell Lappy. Dropped right in and works great!Thanks Wade |
