Installation was straight forward and the memory was recognized by my 11 year old Dell Inspiron 4000 with no problems. And, upgrading from 128 MB to 512 MB has done wonders for performance. Fair warning, I've been doing this kind of stuff for (mumble mumble) longer than I care to admit. If this is your first time, it might be a little intimidating. But, that is not the memory module's fault. The memory is as good as it can get.
