5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding seller, November 21, 2007
Outstanding seller: answered all my questions (and I had many) promptly, thoroughly and accurately, and then when I ordered, shipped it immediately. It arrived two days later, well-packaged and it was exactly as described.

Installation was simple and the new Samsung RDRAM was recognized by my Dell Dimension 8200 (running Windows XP) immediately.

BTW: My initial concern was that my existing RDRAM was non-ECC, and this was ECC, but my research indicated this would not be a problem (that the new ECC would simply default to run as non-ECC, which is actually faster anyway). That proved to be correct.

I also appreciate that the seller was careful to match me with the correct RDRAM for my 1.7GHz CPU.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked Great, September 11, 2010

This review is from: Dell Dimension 8200 8100 PC800-45 45NS RDRAM 1GB (2X512MB) Rambus RIMM 45ns (Personal Computers)
Just what I needed. Plugged right in and recognized on reboot. Going from 0.25 GB to 1.25 GB really helped my old Dell 8200. Maybe I will go to 2 GB soon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dell Memory, May 17, 2011

I purchased this memory upgrade for my Dell Dimension 8200. I bought a new laptop and wanted to keep the 8200 for use by my school aged kids. This upgrade help the computer run faster for a very resonable price. The install was also very easy. (I spent more time dusting out the inside of the computer than actually installing the memory).

Purchased 1GB rambus memory (2 x 512 MB) for an old Dell 8100 backup computer with 384 MB. Memory arrived within time frame promised and installed with no problems. Improved computer speed and stability considerably. Completely satisfied.

I wanted to upgrade memory to my 9 year old Dimension 8100 PC.
This memory is very reasonable price if you compare to the price offered by Dell store, installation was extremely easy and as so far my PC is working great

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast Rambus, January 1, 2010

This memory module upgrade was needed to run anti-spyware and A/V products, both memory intensive applications
when running scans for malware. I'm going to buy another pair and make my Gateway E-4600 2Gb total SDRAM, then
convert it from Windows Me to XP SP3, and continue my software upgrade/migration path from there.
I'm running these modules in ECC mode, and it does not seem to slow down my applications or access times on the
web at all. If so the time difference is negligible as to be barely noticed. They are being used with a matched
pair of 256Mb RIMM's, also from Samsung. Good job Samsung! Highly recommended by this user.

I am a novice geek. Seem to know enough to be dangerous. This seller gave excellent description and information of product. Allowed me to by the memory i needed and install it with no problems. Works perfectly and was easy to install. I recommend this seller to anyone who needs what they sell. I am very happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good customer service, January 1, 2012
This review is from: Dell Dimension 8200 8100 PC800-45 45NS RDRAM 1GB (2X512MB) Rambus RIMM 45ns (Personal Computers)
I mistakenly ordered the 45 ns RDRAM. I called Lee at Link-Tronics and he told me to send back the 45 ns units and they would send me the 40 ns. I just put them in my computer and everything works great! Very happy with the service. Thanks Lee.

5.0 out of 5 stars Order Quantity means Twice the Components, October 9, 2011

This review is from: Dell Dimension 8200 8100 PC800-45 45NS RDRAM 1GB (2X512MB) Rambus RIMM 45ns (Personal Computers)
Beware: This 1GB "unit" is not a single board with two 512MB on each side. It comes as TWO components and takes up TWO slots. The latest photo shows it correctly now. 2x512MB means two pieces at 512MB each. Easy to install, works superbly (but of course), just a heads up if you are limited on memory slots.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed for our Gateway, August 12, 2011

We have an older model Gateway which uses this same type of RAM. We installed it in a matter of minutes and it made a huge difference to the computer while minimizing the impact to my wallet. What made the experience even better was the fast processing and shipping- even though I only bought standard. It was shipped very quickly and arrived in a matter of a couple of days. It was a great experience with the seller and I could not have asked for better.
