We are very limited on space and needed a 15 inch flat monitor. This one fit perfectly and has very good image quality. I did not expect it to be so hard to find a 15 inch monitor these days. The smallest ones available in stores are around 19 inches. The fancy big monitors may look snazzier than this one, but this one is perfect for us.

Great product, wish I would have went with a bigger size, would reccommend to my friends.

Got one of these for my second machine, didn't have the space on my desk for another large widescreen and the second machine is just for rendering and web browsing.

Had it for a while and it still works like the day I got it, good color especially after being calibrated, can't complain.

It was a color monitor but only some colors worked, most were gray or light yellow. Clearly, there was a problem with the unit. But on the positive side, Amazon backed me up and jumped right in when the Vendor did not respond to my initial request for a refund. For that reason, I will continue to shop Amazon with confidence!

it a good basic way to go even with the resolution all the way up it looks ok but movies look really good when play on it but pics looking at the web just ok but i am still happy with it and last a long time had mine for 7 years now

I recently bought a new PC and decided to use the old one as a grounded backup on an unused desk in the bedroom. The trouble was, I only had one monitor, and since I'm a writer, cash is usually short. The very cheapest new monitors at the electronics stores were all well in the $80 - $100 range, and I was darned if I was gonna pay that for a computer I intend to use only as a spare tire. The compromise I reached was this product, the Dell E153fp 15-inch flat panel, and it was a good one.

For starters, buying the refurbished model saved a boatload of dough without sacrificing quality. As to the quality, the construction is very solid and aesthetically pleasing, and the unit is a lot lighter than the not-that-much-bigger 17" model I have on my main computer. Additionally, the monitor has an auto power-down which kicks in pretty quickly when you aren't using it, which will extend monitor life. What impressed me the most was the colors, however. They are unusually vivid and bright, so much so that I would be using this as my main monitor if I hadn't elected to buy it in such a small size.

The drawback with 15" monitors is, obviously, that they are 15", which is pretty small. To some extent the beauty of the colors is diminished by the smallness of the screen, a fact to keep in mind if you watch a lot of movies in this format. However, if you don't have much room or don't have much money, this is a very good product.

Item was nicely cherried up, looks like former office lease equipment. Exact replacement of my old Dell monitor that just went phhht after 4 years. Wanted the same thing to match system and fit in desk space. Price was right, got it in 2 days!

I found my first experience with Amazon to exceed my expectations. It wa very user friendly and my purchase arrived in good shape much sooner than I expected.

I have compared this monitor to many others and this is the worst one I have had yet. Sitting by my Samsung Syncmaster 150s, another 15 inch LCD monitor with even more use than this one, I can tell that this monitor is a lot more dim than the Syncmaster. This monitor was made in 2004, but that shouldn't mean much, because the other one was made in 2002, and its image quality far surpasses this one's. I also have another problem with this monitor. The screen has dead pixels all over it. I'm talking about 50. I don't know how this happened but to me that seems WAY too high of a number. It is normal for some monitors to have 1 or even 2 if they're old, but really, that is too high. I would not recommended it.
