Great Value, January 11, 2008
This review is from: Dell E248WFP 24" Widescreen HD LCD Monitor (Personal Computers)
Keep in mind you are getting a bare bones monitor. No bells and whistles here. But then again you are not paying for all the extras. If that is want you want than look elsewhere.
This is good value in my opinion. Colors are nice and clarity is good. The factory settings are rather poor and it took me a few days to get it dialed in. At first I really let down but after getting things set to my liking I am more than happy. It is a big TN screen and some of the viewing angels are not the best, but nothing major. I use this screen for day to day internet browsing viewing DVDs and gaming. Gaming and DVDS have been a delight with the big screen. Basic set up is very easy but as I have stated before it will take some time to get it tuned in.
You have to evaluate what you plan to use this screen for. If you need ultra high quality color reproduction and super sharp images you will need to fork out a few more hundred dollars. If you are OK with
just above average quality and no bells and whistles this one is all you.

As a good as expected, November 24, 2007
This review is from: Dell E248WFP 24" Widescreen HD LCD Monitor (Personal Computers)
I used to own two 22-inch widescreen monitors (Viewsonic, Westinghouse) within a year before this Dell monitor surfaced on the market. As with the Dells's other two levels up monitors, I thought this one would too come with a Portrait position tilting feature. It does not. This is only my misgiving about this device!
Other than that this monitor gives out fantastic display! A display is crisp, clear, and vivid, as a good as Sony 46-inch Bravia LCD TV--and, to my pleasant surprise, this monitor consumes less energy than other two 22" monitors I used to own. Moreover, my computer used to have problem with a sleep-mode feature and noisier. This Dell monitor took care of both for some reason. I recommend it HIGHLY!

Worth every single cent, May 9, 2008
This review is from: Dell E248WFP 24" Widescreen HD LCD Monitor (Personal Computers)
It is a great product considering its price. Wonderful image and sharp colors, big size 24" widescreen, perfect for working with many windows open, full HD support and cool design that fits great with my Mac computer and my desk.
It is not a top range product and does not aim for professional designers. It doesn't have features like many inputs, integrated hubs, speakers etc. nor does it have an advanced technology panel like IPS or PVA. It is a single TN panel. That's why it is so cheap. But if you are not a professional graphic designer and you do not mind about accurate color reproduction, you will not get disappointed as image quality is still amazing. If you are thinking about buying with the same money a smaller monitor with more features, do not do it!! Sizes matters as well as full HD resolution. As I said, it's really a monitor worth to buy it, ideal for both working and gaming.
