First the bad:
* The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box is the floppy drive. Yep... the thing has a floppy drive as well as a DVD drive.
* The iMicro speakers are the type you'd find at the $1 store. Audio is almost nil.
* 2006 graphics card is so basic it can't even play the first-edition Sims, but it plays Crusader fine.
* The "Genuine" WinXP disc is the cheap one for refurbs.
* Uncommon amount of heat coming off it, it seems.

Now the Good:
* It is exactly as advertised (still would've wanted to be apprised of the floppy drive's presence, though).
* The monitor, keyboard and mouse look and work great.
* Hardly any noise at all from the PC.
* Fast! And enough room for all the kids' games, even if some of them don't work on this system.
* I feel I've gotten my money's worth, even though it turns out its not the bargain I thought it was.

i bought this computer for my mom for her birthday...we received it with no damage. One week later it starts making loud noises, it overheats, it freezes, and it got to the point where my mom was afaraid if she turned it on it would blow up. I would not recommened this for anyone. You think its a great deal but their riping u off. Thanks For Nothing!!!!

I got a similar Dell to this one from the seller A Computer For Everybody. I asked a question about the monitor before I purchased and Customer Service was very good. Its a regular 19" LCD not the wide one. I like them better. I think they actually give you more "viewable" area. It got here quicker than expected. Works great and the family loves it. Its fast on the net. Its my 3rd Dell desktop (I also have a Dell laptop). No problems so far.

Couldn't be happier with the purchase. It arrived as described and in good time. No disappointments or problems to report.

The computer works great . The speakers that came with the computer did not work so I sent them back to ComputerStore199 around June 20 , 2009 . Its Sept. 11 , & I still have not heard from them about the broken speakers , Or got a replacement . Other than that the computer works fine .

I have yet to see an Optiplex, T3400, Precision or Poweredge work properly. I work on site surrounded by these cheaply built computers and they all have similar problems and never work right.

The product is fairly good with fast speed but it came with one of the speakers broken and it often make alot of cracking noice.

I am enjoying the processor speed and the monitor size.

I have a Dell Computer just like this one. Works great, no problems. Really like the 19" screen. I have a hard time looking at the screen all day for my work and upgrading to the larger screen has really helped. Definitely would recommend this. It's Great!

The computer made a terrible noise and when connected to the same monitor that came with it, there was no display on the monitor. I returned it 2 weeks ago for a refund, it was received 12 days ago but I have not yet heard from anybody. I discourage anybody from buying the item

I bought this PC to get me by until I could get something GOOD. This computer is very good for average, light use. Any plans for gaming or video editing should be put somewhere else. This computer will not play very new games well at all and it is NOT customizable. Don't get me wrong - if all you need is something for music, word processing, internet browsing (daily, light performance), it is a good PC. Otherwise, go for something better.

It is loud, so if you can't stand a loud PC, look elsewhere. Overall, not a bad buy for the money.
