I was initially uncertain about purchasing a refurbished computer; however, I purchased this unit after reviewing the seller's excellent feedback record for refurbished machines and could not be happier. I use it for word and data processing, internet, and preparing presentations. Although I do not use it for gaming or downloading music, I frequently have numerous programs operating at once (e.g., MS word, excel, Firefox, Adobe) and have been very pleased with its performance.

I bought this computer to replace my slow, old computer. it does everything my old computer could do but twice as fast! the 80 gig hard drive is more than enough for everyday use, unfortunately it did not come with the advertised 3.6GHz cpu, it came instead with a 3.2GHz cpu which is still good enough for me to accept.

the downside to this computer is that its a small form factor, so upgrading it will be difficult, especially if you want to replace the 275 watt psu.

one more thing i noticed is that the cpu fan is pointed directly at the hard drive, this is fine until several hours have passed, it will have raised the hdd temp above 55C, in the summer it reached 65C a few times.(my room isn't well insulated though)

the ventilation on this tower is too poor for a video card to handle, i have to open the case and point a fan at the video card to keep it from malfunctioning.

all in all its a good computer, faster than most of my friend's computers to be honest, it just isn't for gaming.
