I just got my Dell Inspiron Mini 1010 with ATT broadband connection.
EXCELLENT little machine!.
I must say, after hitting the purchase button and without checking the ratings before the buy, I was concerned after reading all reviews- due to reports that it is slow to start, connect and slugginsh on the videos since only 1 GB RAM and not upgradeable.
I have connected in no time, start up is GREAT and the WiFi and 3G connected in seconds (once all the set ups were done) I have an Asipre One D150 which I chanded the RAM to 2GB. I can tell that the Dell works 99% as fast as my upgraded Acer and there is no diffrence in the processing speeds (while watching hulu videos).
The battery lasted for 5 episodes of CSI and there was no flicker either on standard of HD viewing.
This is a GREAT ilttle unit to check e-mail, web browsing, writting and watching online movies.
I still need to get used to the mouse, however, the keyboard is the BEST.
I would definately recommend it to my friends and family. Also the price with the broadband subscription is unbeatable.
My system runs on Win XP; IE8; HDMI connection; 6 cell battery. Using a Kengsington USB mouse

Hi I just got this laptop and I REALLY LOVE IT it does everything i want it to. Is great for kids!!!!! And the webcam works wonderfully It has great reception. I highly reccomend this for anyone who wants a mini laptop!!!
