Hi,

I bought this thinking it would be an easy and cheap fix. I lost my power
cord and I really needed a new one.

The adaptor worked poorly for 4 or 5 days. If
there was any stress on the connection to the dell power jack
the power connection would be lost. Then it completely
stopped working.

I took a voltmeter and I can see that the unit is delivering power
to the output pin (23 Volts), but I think the pin actually doesn't fit
into dell jack. I'm thinking that the manufactures chose the
wrong center pin diameter. The device is faulty by design, so that
is likely why they are trying to sell them so cheap. Basically, I think it
is junk that the manufacturers are trying to unload to recoup costs.

Anyway given the shipping costs and the price of the item it
doesn't make sense for me to fight with the vendor to get a refund.

Don't get this one. Pay more and get another that will
actually work.

This charger doesn't work, it keeps your computer on but it doesn't charge the computer. Wasted my money. Would not recommend.

I bought this AC Adapter item thinking it would be a low cost fix in lieu of an OEM DELL 90W replacement Laptop AC adapter. Shortly after 90 days, the power supply got so hot the plastic melted on the adapter itself. I noticed the burning plastic smell and my laptop completely froze up, the laptop shut itself down to prevent it's own damage from the defective AC plug. Nice safety feature from Dell. It was a good thing I didn't fall asleep yet because my house might have caught on fire. Do not buy this adapter!

I think the company should know about this defective product and it would be nice if there is some recourse or exception they could make since there is danger involved with this product. I would return both adapters but I am passed the return policy.

Also the chord was too short, always had to be really close to a plug which was annoying.

This is a worst Adaptor...It will become hot and laptop will become hot too..I will not recommend this item to anyone..Cable is short too...

I purchased this Power Supply while waiting for a genuine Dell one. I have waited over a month for the dell one, at 5 times the price
of this one. This one was delivered quickly, works perfectly, I ended up cancelling the Dell one. It's cheap enough that I'm thinking
of buying another one for backup.

I love this charger it don't get hot and smell like all others. buy about 2-3 a week.I'm happy my customers are happy.

A cheap product. We had to reinforce where the wire connects to the plug (at the end where it plugs into the laptop) with electrical tape after about 6 months. This still did not prevent the wires from wearing through and even becoming exposed - glad we noticed it before it shorted out - could have caused a fire. I could return this for a partial refund and pay return shipping, for $10 purchase price this hardly seems worth it. With normal use, this product lasted less than one year - I guess you get what you pay for...

The replacement power adapter work right out of the package without a hitch. It arrived right on time and was as expected.

Just like the PA10 it is imitating this power pack is made in China. While I am well aware that quality will vary from one Chinese manufacturer to another this one is off to a great start. The fit finish and first round performance are equivalent to the original. Who can tell how long it will last. I am happy with the purchase.

Purchased about 17 of these over the last 2 years, and NO problems, need more even as we speak. Thumbs up !!!
