Can this one upgrade the graphic card by ourself? what is the best graphic card i could choose? Aug 12, 2014
Yes you can upgrade it, but be aware that many high-end graphic cards would also require you to upgrade the power supply. Here's a midrange card that works with the stock power supply: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Dual-Link-Graphics-01G-P4-2751-KR/dp/B00IDG3NDY Installation is quite simple.
Came with a keyboard and mouse. My previous keyboard and mouse were much better, so I'm using those. But the computer is great!
what size of power supply does it have? I would want to add a video card, and need to know if it can handle it. Sep 4, 2014
300 W. It has a PCI Express socket.
Is there anything right next to the PCI-E slot? I need to know if my Nvidia GTX 770 will fit. Aug 28, 2014
Watch out for two things: space for the length of the graphics card is limited due to the placement of the hard drive bays. My GTX 660TI just barely fit after I moved the sata cables around. If your card is longer, chances are it won't fit. Secondly, the stock 350w power supply doesn't have either the PCIE connectors nor the power for a high end graphics card. I bought a nice 550W supply and installed it. Installation is a breeze... Since the case is standard ATX form factor. Hope that helps.
Would an HDMI to DVI cable work to connect this computer to a digital monitor? The monitor has no speakers so the cable is for video only. Sep 10, 2014
Never specifically tried that type of cable. I use a HDMI cable and get video and sound just fine. Assuming the video leads are mapped correctly; the HDMI to DVI cable should work as well.
What software comes preloaded? Oct 19, 2014
windows 7, i got a used one so it probably won't be anything like a new one since new ones usually have a bunch of other programs, but the used one just has windows 7 and no anti virus program or anything like that, but i like that since i ususaly have to uninstall so many, now i can just install my programs right away
I put a NVIDIA - GeForce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card in the PCIX16 slot.
