Dell Latitude Laptop (400 MHz Intel penitum II, 128 MB RAM, 6.4 GB Hard Drive)

I bought this laptop and we used it for one week and it died on us. thankfully it was only $260 and now we know to buy a new one. guess I should have researched it better. buyer beware is all I can say.

My brother gave me this computer for Christmas and I must say I am VERY pleased by it's speed & performance. It is a fast little bugger and does all of the things that I want it to do - and more. (It just doesn't sweep the house or do the dishes but alas a woman can't have everything all of the time)!

In the last month, the Dell Latitude has been great. It is fast and I have had no problems with this machine. It meets my needs and I appreciate the small compact size. I can put it in my purse and go!The battery lasts several hours for the times I am not near an electrical outlet.

The other reviewer may had a badly refurbished one. My brother had used it for the last year and he REALLY liked it. In fact, as a Senior IT Tech at ATT, who is Outstanding in his field, keeping up on All of the New Products coming down the pike, he hated to give it up. But, he loves his big sister!

I love him and really appreciate him for giving me this computer! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Marriage and Family therapist, I know family issues. If one gives a family member something that doesn't work they may get slightly irritated.

With his knowledge of his field and his wisdom of years of experience, He knew that I would appreciate this Dell Latitude. He knew I would find it invaluable in my work as a Health Care Consultant.
