Be aware that this computer, with powerful components, comes without the video capacity to allow those components to work well. Had 4 blue screens after purchasing the item, and had to do several "heroics" that more novice users would not have been able to perform. Had to purchase, from another source, the "recommended" video card that set me back another $80. I sent 3 emails to communicate with the sellers, and received no answers. I have made this one work for me, but it is not for the user who can't figure out what is wrong.

I am very happy with the computer that I purchased, but disappointed in the service that I received. The computer arrived as scheduled, but it would not connect with the internet. I contacted the company via email on another computer, but the company never contacted me. I ended up having to pay for a service call from another computer company to fix the problem. It appears that when the computer was refurbished, they failed to delete the IP address that the computer formerly had in it's memory. It should have been cleared and reset back to automatic. As to the computer itself, it is an excellent machine and totally fulfills all my requirements.

The description of the computer I bought seemed too good to be true... and alas, it was. I was broke, and thought it'd be a good deal, since I NEEDED it... and I got suckered into buying it by the great description of it they had on there. this thing's probably as old as I am, and they can say 4gb ram and 750gb hard drive space all they want... this thing is slower than molassas and I havn't gotten a chance to save a single song, video or picture on it yet. want to have two windows open at the same time? (Which I need to for work) Ha! Not happening... that second page will be loading til you fall asleep my friend. It also only plays 50% of the dvd's I put in it... and since my monitor is WAY more advanced than the computer, the two are hardly compatable. Buy a NEW computer... go to best buy or something. seriously.

Compared to refurbished business Dells available at local retailers, this had a 3x larger hard drive and 2x the RAM for a comparable price. Only complaint is that the DVD/CD drive is noisy due to vibrations in the case.

My office is staying with Windows XP Pro so this is an excellent upgrade. The price was a bit higher but mine came with a slightly faster 3.4 GHz Pentium 4 and a floppy drive so I'm Even Steven. The hard disk: Western Digital WD7500AAKS is nice and quiet but the generic DVD drive is on the noisy side. The keyboard, mouse and speakers are off-brands. That's OK as I'll give them away with an older PC and keep what I already have. The Intel display adapter can go up to 1280x768 with LCD TV. Would be nice if it can support wider resolution but that's asking for too much. Was able to connect to the internet right after installing software for my router. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

The cp I received sound didn't work. The tech support was very poor. After returning the product
"that cost me $28 to return" it took three weeks to put the money back on my card. I also lost my $25 bonus dollars. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

This item works fairly well. It starts up quickly but my only issue is although it has 3GB of ram, it can run slow sometimes. That's about the only faults I have noticed thus far

I was forced to use this piece of garbage at work running control systems and plant graphics. The computer under performs in every aspect, has major trouble with graphics, support sucks when the machine fails, the design is bad the door on the front to access the USB will tell you that. The DVD rom is slow and not reliable, the hard drives in most Dell machines I have used are cheap, unreliable and need constant maintenance to even perform basic functions. Avoid these machines at all costs, we sent all of ours back because they were garbage.

The computer had no output to the monitor after initial boot up. Took a week to get a shipping label to return for repair. I then decided to return for refund and buy a computer from another online company. I did receive notice by email that I would get a refund.

On paper, this looks like a GREAT computer. Fast, HUGE hard drive, nice amount of RAM, DVD Burner. At an incredible price.

There's a reason it's so cheap. It almost never plays DVD's. And it's filled with cheap components.

Mine dropped dead after a mere 14 months. They told me it would cost more to fix than the computer is worth. Now I'm using an even cheaper computer (I'm VERY poor, which is why I bought this one in the first place) until I save up my money to have one custom built for me.

And that's what I recommend everyone else do. Don't buy this computer. Go to a computer repair shop, tell them what you use a computer for, and let them build one for you, to your specifications.

This computer looks like a GREAT deal. It's not. It's JUNK!
