This keyboard perfectly complements the Dell Venue 11 Pro and turns it into a mini laptop. Keys are well spaced with good feedback and minimal noise, and the full size Shift keys are a welcome upgrade from the typical 10 inch tablet keyboard. Additional battery is also great, combined with the tablet it seems to run forever. Trackpad is good and it supports pinch to zoom and Windows 8 gestures to call up the charms and the multitasking view. If you have the 11 Pro and do any amount of typing this keyboard is highly recommended.

Very sturdy and makes the tablet into a "real" laptop. The additional battery life will be a nice plus.

There is one poor design flaw. You must remove the keyboard from the tablet in order to charge the keyboard battery.

*** Update *** I was incorrect. The Venue DOES charge the additional battery in the keyboard. Once the Venue battery is at 100%, it switches to charging the keyboard battery.

Pro's...
This keyboard has the same textile feedback as a normal laptop keyboard.
Build in touch pad - no need to pack a mouse!
Internal battery increases usage time considerably. (Up to 18 hours) - That's a lot of time for Netflix!
Quality craftsmanship and solid feel.

Con's
The only real con is that I was having some occasional connectivity issues between the keyboard and the tablet. Every once in awhile I would lose keyboard and mouse functionality and have to separate and reconnect the keyboard to get function back.

<<<UPDATE>>>
After some further troubleshooting, I discovered what was causing the connection issues. I had previously purchased and installed the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield - DELL Venue 11 Pro 5130 Screen Protector Ultra HD - Extreme Clarity & Touch Responsive + Black Carbon Fiber Film Protector with Lifetime Replacements on the tablet. The carbon fiber looking sticker that goes around the bottom edge of the device is just thick enough to cause intermittent connection issues. I trimmed the sticker off the bottom edge and presto chango, no more problems.

Overall, it's a great product and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for more versatility out of their tablet PC.

Body is made from metal. Keys have a nice touch and have enough height to be easy to find for touch typing. The keyboard also contains and auxiliary batter for the Venue 11 Pro and I would guess the keyboard and tablet batteries together would run for 15-18 hours. It is a little pricey, but the quality and value is there. I would recommend it.

I bought this keyboard to go with my windows 8.1 dell venue pro 11 tablet. Its a very sleek and study keyboard with nice buttons and a great feel all around.

Have had several issues with the tablet interfacing with the key board from time to time. sometimes it will freeze and i have to window-key out of something and back in to get the keyboard back on track. Sometimes the mouse pointer disapears and wont come back unless i tab in and out of the application.

I just expect things to work seemlessly when the tablet and keyboard are both so expensive

It clips and detaches onto the tablet easily. The extra battery life is great. The keys have good travel and a nice feel. Wish they were lighted as I always seem to be typing in the dark.

The tablet is held at your desired angle pretty firmly but there IS a small amount of play--better then other convertibles I have used but still a little room for improvement.

The track pad works fine but I am not a track pad user so may not be the best judge there...

The charging jack is in a bit of a weird spot...doesn't seem to affect the performance/usability really...just odd placement. If you have two chargers and want to charge the tablet and the dock at the same time to speed things up you will have to detach the tablet...

Excellent keys, which is the most important thing to me. So-so track pad. The worst part is that when you pick up the computer/keyboard by the keyboard, it causes spurious mouse clicks. Also, resting your palms on the palm rest areas can cause spurious clicks, when it is awkwardly supported on your lap and you heavily rest your palms on it.

I can live with those minor quirks, and have learned to rest-lightly, and carry the machine around differently (hold near the hinge, instead of by the palm rests). It is worth it for the keyboard that is unmatched among ultrabooks.

I really like this keyboard and have no real issues with the operations. There are two things I would recommend review of: 1) it is a bit awkward to use the "home" & "end" keys because I have to press the shift+func+home so, I might as well remove my hand and use a mouse; 2) the limit how the angle degree I can move the "screen": I must be taller than the designer and found myself hunching over to view the screen more clearly. I solved the problem by using an old mouse wrist-pad to prop the front of the keyboard and all is well.

I love having the option to using my tablet as a touch or keyboard device.
