This laptop is surprisingly fast. Its size is pretty compact and screen resolution is very high. Watching HD videos would be very good experience. Best laptop/tablet for what it is made for. Speakers are very loud and sound is crisp for its size it's unexpectedly good. Touchpad and keyboard are functioning okay so far. I'll update my review later once I learn more about this little laptop.

I've never bought a PC which couldn't take a memory upgrade (and I've never passed on upgrading that memory to the max), and I regret only having 4gb. That being said, I really like the rest of the package,

I was intrigued when the XPS 12 first came out, but battery life was less than ideal. Between the Haswell update and a good deal, I couldn't resist taking the plunge. All in all I'm quite happy.

The screen is gorgeous, and I've become a screen snob. This takes that up a few notches. The only improvement could be a bonded panel (less gaps). I don't regret this not being some crazy ultra high res screen. 1080p is great.

The weight is a bit much for a tablet, but if you rest it on your lap or whatnot, it's fine. It makes a relatively light laptop (lightest I've ever used). It's easy to hold which is a plus.

The hinge is great, and while I also like the Lenovo Yoga design, I find this to be the best out there. A physical lock would be a huge plus however, as sometimes things bump the bottom of the back of the screen to start a swivel. Otherwise it's a winner. Note there is no issue holding it in tablet mode. Overall it's a very sturdy laptop.

Ergonomics are more or less good. It's well balanced and not inclined to tip or become unwieldy, but I do wish that the volume button was larger. Speaking of outside interfaces/ports, the lack of a SD card slot is a bummer, as is the intermittent (likely sleep related) issues with the USB ports no longer working (a reboot fixes this).

Battery life is great, and even at the dimmest setting, the screen is gorgeous.

My biggest issue is memory capacity. This convertible works well as a laptop, and thus it begs for laptop workloads. This can make 4gb of ram inadequate.
