Product Description

The Dell V105 is an All In One Inkjet Printer designed to print good quality mono and color documents with the additional benefits of photo printing, copy and scan functionalities. This printer uses Genuine Dell Ink for less ink jams and high quality prints. It comes in a convenient compact and sleek design which saves space. The printer delivers up to 22/17 ppm black/color (Letter) and up to 19/15ppm black/color (A4). It provides up to 4800 x 1200 dpi of print resolution and up to 600 x 1200 dpi 36-bit color scanning resolution. Its easy to navigate menu screens ensure that you don’t waste time on your print jobs. The Standalone photocopying allows quick and easy copying without having to turn your computer on. Also, its One-touch 4x6 photo copy feature, direct copy keys in Mono and Color. Equipped with the Dell Ink Management Software, the V105 will notify you when it is running low on ink. The 2 cartridge black and color capability enables printing of good quality documents and images in true-black and bright colors. It is an OK 3N1 printer. Scanner does not seem to like XP, but an good computer nerd can fix the problem. The only drawback seems to be that it drinks ink like desert drinks rain.

Not only that the ink is far too expensive, but the print quality is horrible. On its normal setting, it streaks every other line. Best quality will give you a product that is acceptable, but the setting will go through your already small supply of ink twice as fast.

For the price, this is a great product. Definitely would not use it to print photos or anything you would expect high resolution/quality for, but a worthy printer to have if you just need something that prints, copies, and scans decent color and black/white documents. It does drink a lot of ink, but I only print when I absolutely need to. I wouldn't buy this if you are a student expecting to print 40 page articles every other day or a sole proprietor hoping to print out 10 invoices per day. It is definitely not a good product if you are planning to print that frequently. But for the occasional print (taxes, professional letters, resume, etc.), it's a good product for the price.
