Like a pissed off angel, she really bites into a song, chews it up and spits it out with enough sass to make Lena Horne, Aretha Franklin, and etta James altogether look liek wimps. I mean thsi lil' gal sang with a growl like Big maybelel or Mama Thornton, only she swing harder, and always sounded best on standards with bag bands and orchestration!

This is an excellent collection of songs sung by Della Reese the angel on "Touched by an Angel." In this CD you get to see that Della can also sing like an angel. Everyone of the songs are great.
