Took me back to being a teenager ALL OVER AGAIN!,

I received this book in anticipation from a good friend of mine. I'd heard so many reviews that I just HAD to read it myself and I am SO glad I did!
I'm a 40 year old woman currently living in the US and as soon as I started to read this book I was giggling and immediately taken back to my teenage years when I lived in England. The angst, the crushes, the love and embarrassment a teenager feels just washed over me and I felt like I was RIGHT there with Della and Dan - well, not RIGHT there *cough* but in the midst so to speak...... The way this book is written by the amazing Keris is only a bonus! I could almost taste the chips they ate and wanted so much to go over to Della's house and sit with her parents, watching a movie and eating appropriate food! As soon as I had finished reading this book I literally packed it up and sent it to my 18 year old daughter who I KNOW will love it just as much if not more! Excellent excellent book! |
