This is a great CD. It's been in steady rotation since I bought it. Frank draws from Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, and Johnny Cash, but he has his own style: from rollicking bar songs to poignant ballads. If you like original songwriters this CD is well worth it.

Fans of Tom Waits, Howlin' Wolf, and Cohen will want to check this CD out. It contains the best material to date by Frank and company. Mixtures of blues, rock and folk are present. And ther is lyrical content that Waits would be proud of. Highly recommended CD for fans of gritty rocking blues.

This is really one of the most beautiful of the discography. It seems impossible not to love this music. You don't have to be a fan of blues to enjoy the incredible lyrics and the music itself contains the kind of soul that is almost completely absent in modern music. I urge you to at least give this a listen. Go find Frank on facebook or myspace and listen to just one song and you will probably understand what I mean. In my opinion, this is the best music you will probably never find unless you know someone who knows a guy who is a fan. I think you are really lucky if you have just stumbled across this album by randomly browsing through amazon.

Incredible that a white man can sing and play such authentic sounding blues. His song writing is delightful and this is his best album. I bought Made In USA but it is just awful. Buy this one, it's so original I can hardly believe it.
