Good Book, Bad CD,
By D.G. (Virginia, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Delmar's NCLEX-PN Review (Delmar's Exam Review Series) (Paperback)
I'm in the practical nursing program. Reviewing this book is very helpful, have important keys to remember and all the information from Med surg is concise; clear and succinct. Unfortunately, the cd along with this book is useless, it is not compatible with "Windows Vista". Tech Support was contacted and told me I need an older version such as "windows 95, 98, or XP" to run the cd. If you have an older computer, perhaps you'll be able to run it. I think this CD should be upgraded to be compatible to windows vista, it is very dissapointed.

I received the book at the right time & in perfect condition. I would highly recommend to everyone to order from this dealer. The book has full of information & it comes with cd to install in your desktop or laptop computer. I know that this book would help me alot to pass my nclex-pn board examination.

I'm using this to study for NCLEX and I'm getting very frustrated with this book. The study guide part of it is great. The sample questions are very bad. The answers and rationales do not match what the book is saying in the study guide part. Also, I was taught some things differently than this book. For instance, I was taught NEVER to put up 4 railings because it is considered a restraint and the patient could injure themselves trying to get out of bed. The book says to use 4 railings and rationalizes the answer by saying this is a safety issue. I think the worst sections are labor & delivery and Pediatrics. This was a huge waste of money.
