Best NCLEX Review and Question book,
By
This review is from: Delmar's NCLEX-RN Review (NSNA: NCLEX-RN Review (National Students Nursing Association)) (Paperback)
I am part of a study group and we have 9 different NCLEX Review books between us.This DelMar book is the best NCLEX review book of the 9 that we have. Some features that make this book better than others are: 1. The book is broken down into sections with review and summary information, then questions specific to that section. Most other books just have practice tests with questions from all the different areas and you have to crawl through them to find the ones relevant to the subject you're studying. 2. This book also has comprehensive tests 3. This book has excellent test taking advice 4. This book has outstanding rationale for the questions offered. Some other books only list the correct answer and why that's the correct answer, but this book also explains why the incorrect answers are not correct. (Sounds confusing, but basically it tells you not only why answer "3" is correct, but tells you why "1", "2", and "4" are not correct.) 5. This book has a guarantee that you will pass the NCLEX after using their book and practice tests.

I passed with 75 minimal questions,

I have been out of nursing field since I graduated from College 8 years ago in TW (English is not my native language). However, since I decided to get RN license in US, my friend recommended me to get this book. I spent 30 days studying it, almost finished all the practice questions, and then I passed, got my RN license.
The best feature of this book is it has outstanding rationale for each question in the book. Tell you why you should choose the answer and why not choose the others, which really helped me to analyze the question and get the right answer when taking the real RN exam.

WOW this book has everything. I love how it gives a condensed yet comprehensive review of each area of nursing. I've been a LPN for 16 yrs and am now back in college to get my RN. This book is a perfect refresher and learning source and I highly recommend it.

I purchased this book along with the Kaplan NCLEX-RN review and thought both were great. This is the best book that I have found for content. I felt so prepared to take the NCLEX that I took it two weeks after I graduated and passed with the minimum number of questions. I recommend this book to anyone.

Fantastic Review Book!,

This review is from: Delmar's NCLEX-RN Review (NSNA: NCLEX-RN Review (National Students Nursing Association)) (Paperback)
I took the RN NCLEX in June of 2006. Passed it the first time with 75 questions. I used this book and the accompaning CD. There were even a couple questions on my NCLEX exam that were very similar to practice questions from this book. A great resource. I also recommend NCLEX-RN Review Cards; Second Edition by Springhouse.

I've had this book when I took my CGFNS and NCLEX. It's a great book. The flow of the questions in this reviewer were similarly patterned to the real NCLEX. I did 100 questions a day for 2 months and I already felt confident. And yes, I passed the exams! I highly recommend this to all NCLEX reviewers out there. Remember, it's all a matter of patience and perseverance, never give up because eventually your hard work will pay off. ; )

I bought this book because it was cheap and I found a good review on it. It is a good book: it goes over a review of systems first, then has questions on each system. I am currently in Nursing School and all our tests are NCLEX-style. I like this book because it also offers rationale for why the answers are what they are. The only qualm I have about it is there are only about 7 questions per section (in the Pediatric section at least) but there are more in the lengthened tests in the back. You can access these easily through the index though.
