The home adapter kit is fantastic! First, it's very easy to install. Second, it doesn't take up much space. Third, it increases the funtionality of the SKYFi2. Finally, it's relatively inexpensive.

I received the SKYFi2 with car adapter kit as a Christmas gift. After having it professionally installed in my car, I became an instant fan of XM Radio. I soon started listening to XM on my home computer via XMRadio Online and then decided to go with the home apapter. XM Radio sounds incredible on my stereo system and there is little to no interference. Just remember...don't let the AC cord and the audio cables touch or you will definitely get interference.

I wanted the home antenna system so I could bring my SkyFi2 receiver out of my vehicle and listen to it in the house too. I set up the antenna in a south facing window as per the instructions but soon discovered that this was unnecessary as the high gain antenna picked up the signal right through the roof with no visible or audible degradation of the signal. Now it sits unobtrusively on top of my stereo cabinet obviating the need to route the lead wire through the house to the window. Great! Good-bye commercial radio with all your annoying commercials and mindless, yapping, moronic DJs!

Although I have the Boom Box which gives good service I wanted to play my XM Radio through my surround sound system. The Home Adapter Kit was easy to hook up and the whole system is working great. If you have a good sound system and want to enjoy XM Radio at its best I recommend the Home Adapter Kit.

After looking for a reasonably priced XM receiver, I bought the Delphi SKYFI2 on sale. It worked well on the dash on a trip from Maryland to Arkansas and back. To use this receiver at work and at home, I bought the Home Adaptor Kit. The antenna needs to be installed in a south facing window, according to the instructions. Faced with a 75 foot run of antenna wire, I thought "What can I lose?" and tried it next to the amplifier anyway. As I write this, it's sitting on a valence above a north facing window and the music comes through just fine. There's no down side I can see to this product, or to the SKYFI2 it serves.

The home adapter is actually much easier than the directions show. I laid the antenna on an inside window sill and the sound was perfect. The total installation was only 5 minutes and the sound quality is fantastic.

The device does exactly what it says it does. It's very convenient because it allows me to take the receiver out of my car and plug it into my system in my house. Setup was very easy. You have to make sure to get a good location for the antenna, though, otherwise the stations may cut in and out due to interference. Also, the connection for the RCA cables is rather loose on the dock, so you have to make sure that the cable is actually plugged in or you will not get any sound. Otherwise a good product and recommended.

The home kit does exactly what it says, lets you use your SkyFi at home, or into a boom box with an aux input.

Works great in the house. The only problem is finding a place where the antenna can pick up the signal (must be a south pointing location), but it works thru at least one wall (ours is brick lined).

This little product--the second one I own--allows me to take my XM Radio with me to a second location, where I also have a little stereo outfit. The dock is attached to the stereo outfit and I just plug in my Delphi II. Good deal!
