It freezes up often for no reason, and yes I did update the software. Fortunately resetting is simple, press and hold the power button and up volume button at the same time. This is really the only complaint I have.

I bought this kit from Amazon for $[...] so we could use our XM (SkyFi3) radio in both cars. First car had professional direct wired installation, sounds great but was expensive (over $[...]). The SureConnect is easy, and sound quality is very good, about as good as the direct wired connection.
I installed this one myself less than an hour. About 15-20 minutes to run the antenna wire through the door and then under the dashboard to the cradle in the middle of the dash, and only about 10 minutes to run the SureConnect wire from the radio mast on the front fender to the cradle on the dash. Attaching the cradle to the dash took maybe 5-10 minutes. Surprised at both the low price and how good it sounds, and it was easy for me to install.

I'd like to start off by saying that this seller shipped lightning fast and has the best price I've found on this kit. HOWEVER, they're losing a couple of stars. The kit I got looks like it was cobbled together from spare parts. It wasn't in the original XM/Delphi packaging; the power cord, antenna, etc. were individually bagged in clear plastic and sent loose in the padded shipping envelope. The dock itself has surface scratches from use also. No paperwork was included, so I'm not even sure I got everything.

I realize that they're not making this kit any longer, so I'm glad I got it for a reasonable price. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the kit wasn't in "NIB" quality though. Would still have purchased, just had a bit of disappointment when I opened the envelope.

I was very satisfied with the kit I purchased. It was cheap and I could not find it on the xm web site. It came with all the parts in the original container. I would recommend this to anyone else looking for the same thing or even just part of the kit was cheaper here than purchasing from a retailer

This is the 3rd kit I have purchased. I can now move my Skyfi3 from house, to car, to trailer, to bike and get full use of my subscription to XM satellite radio. These kits are great but hard to find.

Once again I am a very happy Amazon customer. OI received the Items very quickly and received what I expected.

This is our second attempt at ordering this particular item. The first company we used never shipped our item so we went right back on Amazon & ordered the system from THIS seller & it was shipped the next day. Item arrived undamaged just as we ordered & we are VERY satisfied. Will order from here again.

This stuff is workable but cheesy up next to the apple products. XM needs to focus on producing some higher quality hardware products that are truely better than anything else.
