Now you can connect your SKYFi receiver to any home stereo equipped with RCA-type audio input connectors--including a cassette deck, a minidisc recorder, or a home CD recorder--as well as with any set of powered computer speakers (especially convenient if your PC speakers have a headphone output). The kit is purportedly compatible with aftermarket attachment accessories from leading manufacturers.

Very easy install.. but a little warning. You may need to purchase a shielded cable. ( ie: Monster or Acoustic Research). Hooked up two of these one downstairs, one upstairs.Downstairs on a inexpensive audio system (Aiwa bookshelf system CD.Cassette,Am/Fm). That one worked fine. Upstairs on a larger Denon A/V Receiver not so good, major humming noise.Turns out the unshielded cable supplied with home kit picks up major electrical interference from receiver (I'm sure there's a proper word for that). Discovered I wasn't the only one with that problem.Installed a shielded cable for about $13.00 noise gone. This probably applies to the home kit for the SKYFI2 if it uses the same cable.

This item was a breeze to assemble. When my XM radio began to malfunction, I thought I would have to replace the expensive receiver unit. Someone suggested taking a gamble on the docking station or antenna being the defective part.. It worked like a charm..
