Roomy but design can cause problems; overpriced?
on December 27, 2013
This is a large bag. Basically one compartment (although there is a divider that can be used), with some large zippered pockets in flap and smaller ones on the exterior and along along the long side and on the end with the hidden handle. So you can pack a lot of stuff in it. Which means you could easily exceed the weight limit if taking it on a plane.
As one reviewer pointed out, it is not stiff, so it will collapse if not full. But it is a duffel bag ....
As others have noted, the lack of feet on the end that has wheels is a problem. The bag can't really stand upright on its own. And the material on the end can be damaged when using the wheels if you aren't careful. After one trip I have a small hole in the fabric as well as some wear in other spots. Which is unfortunate, since I was very happy with it otherwise. Guess I will try to "repair" the damage with black duct tape and try to ensure fabric doesn't touch the ground when I am using the wheels.
I paid about $35 for this; I don't think it is close to being worth the the current price of $94 even if it is by Delsey, especially with the design problem.
