5.0 out of 5 stars DELTA'S UNIFENCE
THE UNIFENCE IS A GREAT ACCESSORY FOR ANY TABLE SAW. MINE CAME ON MY GRAND EDITION SAW, AND UNTIL I HAD IT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS MISSING. IT LOCKS DEAD SOLID, IS VERY EASY TO ADJUST, AND STAYS SQUARE. THE WAY THE FENCE SLIDES BACK AND FORTH MAKES CUTOFFS SAFE AND EASY. THE UNIFENCE WILL MOUNT TO JUST ABOUT ANY TABLE SAW--A GOOD FENCE IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN...

Not sure yet. You didn't send any assembly instructions with the unit. I would appreciate it if someone would either e-mail me or mail me the necessary documentation.

5.0 out of 5 stars 30" Unifence, June 28, 2000

I have a Grizzly 10" Cabinet Saw that I have been upgrading. To date this is the best upgrade that I have made. It bolted right on to the saw, I didn't have to drill a hole, adjustment only took minutes and it performs flawlessly. One note though you will need an table extention so either buy Delta's or plan on making your own...the instructions are in the assembly manual.

5.0 out of 5 stars Upgraded Sears Contractor Saw, August 7, 2000

I ordered the 30" fence to upgrade my Sears 10" Contractors Saw. Installation was straight forward. I recommend buying the 30" extension table. The extension table required me to create some blocks under the supports to level the table with the saw. The installation was straighforward with no problems. When you upgrade you will have to remount the on/off switch. The Fence provides two treaded holes that you can use along with a 6" piece of right angle aluminum. Fence is dead on accurate and brought new life to an old saw.

I have this fence on my platinum edition saw and I'm very happy with it.I've tried other fence systems including biesemeyer and this one beats them all.Once assembled and adjusted it's soo smooth as it glides along the table and it clamps down rock solid.Unless your shop floor is 100% level(mine isnt either)you will need to make some kind of adjustment to either your saw stand or extension table.Delta does offer a real nice laminated table to fit your saw or you could make your own real easy. the legset you put under your extension table should have adjustable feet it's a whole lot easier to plumb it all up.The design of this fence allows it to be adjusted up or down front or rear independently of the carriage.I do recommend this fence for new saws or anyone looking to give an old saw new life. This ones a winner..

5.0 out of 5 stars Assembled to Sears Contractor Saw, February 13, 2001

Was pretty easy to install, you will need a 7/16th drill bit for some minor drilling. Template was easy to use and pre drilled holes on bottom of fence can be used for power switch. The fence is easy to adjust and is a welcomed change from the craftsman fence. A must have wish I would have purchased this a long time ago.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gain an extra 8 inches, May 21, 2001

This review is from: Delta 36-905 30-Inch Table Saw Unifence (Tools & Home Improvement)
I gave new life to an old faithfull delta cabinet saw by adding a 30inch unifence and sliding table. The installation of the sliding table requires removel of the left extention wing, which now the hardware for the sliding table interfears with the fence. I called Delta about this combo and they said to cut off 8inches of the fence guide rail which would keep the mounting holes and the tape rule right where they should be.I could not see cutting a 270$ fence. By relocating the mounting holes ( two 1/2 holes)down eight inches to the left my 30in fence became a 38in fence I purchased a new sticky back rule and put over top of the old one.The only problem is the fence table you have to add 8inches to it. I made mine so there was no problem, or you could buy the 72in table and cut it down. I love the combination cross cutting has never been this easy and safe. Good Luck.
