I agree that this bed is a sturdy bed. Putting the bed together took quite some time as the bolts that went into the metal bars did not line up and the metal clips in the plastic ends had been incorrectly placed and had to be pushed into correct position (I have put together many items from Ikea and am handy with tools and still found the task VERY frustrating!). If I was a single mom putting this together I would recommend doing it at night without an anxious toddler waiting, and expect it to take over an hour.

Also the cars pictures are stickers that do not stick on well and get pulled off by pillows or sheets being pushed around near them. Do not try to tuck in a comforter or thick blanket at the end of the bed as it will bend the plastic end piece.

The bed has held up well and shows no weakness, but the stickers are now gone.

I would not recommend this to anyone who has an active curious toddler who moves things around a lot or might tear off stickers if they start to pull away from the bed.

My wife and I bought this bed for our two year old son. We have had the bed for two weeks now and nothing but good dreams so far. I had some problems with screws lining up but beyond that set up was easy. I would recommend this to any parent worried about thier toddler tearing the bed up from being to rough.

I bought this bed for my 17 month old and he loves it! I make sure none of my kids jump on it and that it is in a room that the kids aren't rough housing, but I think it could take some rough housing, but maybe not jumping. I feel it is very study and my son loves sleeping in his big boy bed and hasn't fallen out once! Overall a good buy!

Bought this for when my grandson comes to visit. Easy to build and take apart (when he goes back home) stores nicely in the box for the next visit. He loved it.

I got this bed for my son when he turned two and was climbing out of his crib but not big enough (and we couldn't afford) a twin size bed.

Two years later, it's going strong! He weighs about 30 lb, I weigh 120 and we both sit on it each night when we read stories. I've had two adults and my son on it without issue. My son is beginning to outgrow it now, mainly because he tosses and turns so much at night but for the price it was totally worth the buy. He's four and still not too long or too big for it. He just moves too much.

I don't recall having too much trouble putting it together either. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

I bought mine from a local Sears. Same product. Bed was easy to put together. I am not handy. It took me 45 minutes but for most handy dudes it would have been about 20 min. All the screws lined up. However, some screws went in easier. All screws were vacuum sealed in one handy cardboard piece. No bags. Alll screws were labeled. Our 2 year old loves it. "Big boy bed" is what he calls it. Highly recommended.

Toddler beds are not used very long, and this one comes at a WONDERFUL price. It's colorful, fun, and VERY sturdy!

If you are looking for a cheap, durable, cute bed....buy this one.

Be warned...it's a pain in the booty to assemble, like most things are anymore. :)

Bed was extremely easy to put together, took 20 minutes max. The steel frame is very strong and withstands our toddler quite well. Nice and low to the ground. A great bed and the price makes it even better!

Love this bed! Our almost 2 year old who is now deemed Hercules pulled apart his metal toddler bed and so we purchased this one same day. It was easy to put together even with his help. It's sturdy even when he stage dives off of it and the only issue we had was the first night he was so into looking at the Cars stickers he didn't want to actually sleep. I highly recommend this bed.

I had this bed for a few months now and I'm so happy with it. My son is 4 and loves to sleep in his bed. Assembling the bed wasn't a problem either. I agree that it could have been a bit cheaper, but it does was it's suppose to do...make a child sleep and happy. I even brought the matching cars blanket set.
