This review is from: Delta Blues: The last of the traditional Bluesmen [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I really enjoyed this video, especially the performances of Willie Foster, Boogaloo, T-model Ford. In this Video you get a true picture of a real jook joint and blues legends as they perform.

The Delta Blues is Gospel for Blues roots,
By Olaf Landsgaard (Rosamond, California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Delta Blues: The last of the traditional Bluesmen [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The video does an excellent job of telling the story of the roots of Blues music - from the son of a field hand - whose mother was forced to pick cotton the day he was born - to the uplifting role Gospel music plays in bringing the soul of music and musician to life.Best one hour music video you could own.

delta blues/cajun two step,

This review is from: Delta Blues/Cajun Two Step [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The previous reviews are for a different video. This video has a cajun quartet, a fife and drum band, Son house, Skip James, and Bukka White only. All of the performances are good, with son house the standout.
