Very pleased, February 14, 2010
This review is from: Delta Changing Table, Ivory White (Baby Product)
I don't recommend putting it together by yourself 6 months pregnant but it can be done! I was determined. Once together I have to admit the quality was outstanding!! This is a table that I will keep for a second baby. It has an nice finish which wipes up nicely. Well worth the money. Just have someone else with you when you put it together or have them do it!! :)

It does the job, August 10, 2010
This review is from: Delta Changing Table, Ivory White (Baby Product)
We have used this changing table for over a month and so far so good. Just a note that it is made of particle board and very similar to an IKEA product (which can be good or bad based on your opinion), so something to keep in mind when you purchasing this product. Below are the pros and cons:
Cons:
(1) It was a bit of pain to put together. I am fairly handy but this required two people to hold it in place as the boards where bent on the corners. I should have sent it back for another one but I didn't want to box it up again so was able to work with it.
(2) It is made of a lacquered-type particle board and feels cheap when putting it together. However, once it's actually built, it feels sturdy and does in fact look good.
(3) The pad it comes with is fairly useless. Do your baby a favor and get a $20 pad from BabiesRUs as it fits in it perfectly and is much more comfortable.
Pros:
(1) Great storage on the bottom. You can put extra diapers, wipes, etc. and still have room to spare.
(2) Once it's actually built, it looks good. Don't expect to pass this down to generations but it will do the job and is quite sturdy. Our baby is almost 12 pounds now and we never have concerns about the stability.
Overall, I would but it again (but wouldn't look forward to building it again) :)

Excellent changing table, July 13, 2010
This review is from: Delta Changing Table, Ivory White (Baby Product)
Amazon reviews have proven very helpful in my current quest for baby supplies, so I'm hoping to return the favor for another shopper.
This is an excellent, sturdy and attractive changing table and I highly recommend it to others.
Once assembled, this table feels very sturdy. Our 20lb cat jumped on it a few minutes after assembly and it didn't shake even a tiny bit. I physically tried to shake it and would feel confident putting any baby on top.
The shelving is very generous -- I'm currently storing a baby bath and a Graco carseat base and they fit perfectly.
The instructions for the table are not very good, although I had no problem figuring out what to do -- assembly took me about 10 minutes alone. (It would be easier with two people, though.) If you want to use the strap, make sure to look for the screwholes in the "A" bar and put them in the right place in Step 1, so you can screw the strap in Step 6. I didn't realize there were screwholes until the whole table was already assembled. Then again, who straps their baby to a changing table? The real key to making sure your baby doesn't fall off is to NOT LEAVE THEM ON THE TABLE.
The changing pad did come with a small tear, which is really a packaging problem and not a design problem. For now, I flipped the pad over so the tear is on the bottom, and you'd never know. However, I'm buying a contoured changing pad anyway, so I don't care much about the pad.
