4.0 out of 5 stars Good for price.....
Great for Apartment or close quarters living! 3.0 out of 5 stars Great value
Purchased for our baby due in Dec. We had limited space and needed a crib less than 53" wide, I really wanted the Nursery Smart Chelsea (no longer available), or the Davinci Kalani (backordered until who knows when) so we opted for this one as it looked very nice in the ebony color we saw. We ended up going with dark cherry which is really a medium cherry if you compare...

Great for Apartment or close quarters living! Mattress is a little thin and it isn't strong enough to hold its form with sheets (the elastic pulls the mattress so that it doesn't snuggly fit the sides of the crib. Very beautiful and somewhat easy to assemble, however, it either takes an amazingly flexable person or a second person as you assemble the short sides to the mattress support then attatch the long sides and its impossible to hold straight to screw one side on while the other side isnt attatched and "flopping" around. As far as durability, its pretty dang sturdy! My 6 and 4 year olds (being the big brothers that they are) have "tested" it to make sure it wont fall on the baby by jumping in it repeatedly and it hasn't even cracked with their combined weight (103 lbs total). The only down thing I have found with it is that the prescrewed holes for assembly dont stop and you have to check to make sure your not coming out the finished side.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little crib, April 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I think the crib is great. It was easy to assemble, and I assembled by myself at 8 months preg. The wood is nice, the oak is beautiful, and the crib is strong. It is small and is a great size for our apartment. I did order a mattress ahead of time because it sounds like most mini cribs come with a very thin mattress. However, the safety instructions say that it shouldn't be used with a mattress over 2 3/4". I think the mattress I ordered is 5". I'm hoping it will work out perfect because the higher mattress setting is a little lower than I would like. Overall, it's beautiful, strong, and mini. Everything I was looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars We LOVE this crib!!!, June 28, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We live in an older home with small spaces and didn't want a regular sized crib for our baby's room, so we started looking at mini cribs. Since this will be a primary crib and not a "weekend" or "grandma's house" crib, we wanted something solid, well-made and beautiful and this crib definitely fit the bill. I was reassured by the many reviews about the sturdiness and quality of the crib, but I was a little concerned about the reviewers who mentioned that the crib was very dark. I was afraid the cherry wood would be much darker than pictured, and we didn't want anything too dark for our nursery. But when the crib arrived, it was a warm, rich, medium cherry color and we love it! I wonder if the other reviewers got the black color instead of cherry? In any case, we are thrilled with this crib.

We did order the Dream On Me 3" Spring Coil Portable Crib Mattress, White since the pad that comes with the crib is very thin. The mattress just arrived today and it fits the crib perfectly and seems to be the perfect combination of firm but not too firm. I also ordered an adorable Kids Line Soft and Fuzzy Winne the Pooh Portable Crib Set and the fitted sheet fits the new 3" mattress perfectly.

I absolutely recommend this crib to anyone!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great value, July 18, 2011
Purchased for our baby due in Dec. We had limited space and needed a crib less than 53" wide, I really wanted the Nursery Smart Chelsea (no longer available), or the Davinci Kalani (backordered until who knows when) so we opted for this one as it looked very nice in the ebony color we saw. We ended up going with dark cherry which is really a medium cherry if you compare it to other dark cherry furniture sold for babies. The crib is sturdy and goes together very quickly, all that is needed is the wrench that comes with it. The crib mattress that it comes with is like a changer pad thickness so you will definitely want to order a 3" mattress. I ordered the Davinci 3" mattress and it fits perfectly inside with no gaps. Most ads for this crib mention a "free" twin conversion kit and to call Delta. I thought it was for wood or metal twin rails like you would need for a Davinci or other crib conversion. I was wrong. When I called to check on the conversion kit, I was told that I had to buy twin rails for the crib and if they don't fit, they will send a kit with screws etc to "convert" the crib using the rails you purchase. I might have kept looking and chose another more expensive crib that included rails had I known this but overall I am happy with the crib.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Mini Crib, March 21, 2011
This review is from: Delta Children's Products Liberty Mini Crib - Black (Baby Product)
Length:: 3:17 Mins

(The video is my review on YouTube) This is an adorable mini crib. I love the dark wood look, it goes great with our black/brown IKEA furniture. It was very easy to assemble. Small and compact, perfect for small spaces. Cute color and design. It has two heights for the mattress to be set at, and also converts to a twin size bed. Cons: The crib pad is pretty thin, and the manufacter doesn't recommend much thicker of a mattress, so if you are concerned with that it could be a problem. Also, it's not made of solid wood, so I imagine it could dent or scratch if something sharp were to be drug across it. (If you'd like to ask me anything further about it please leave it in the comments of my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrdDdkvPW2o and I'll get back to you!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great crib for a small area!, March 20, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We purchased this crib for a small space and it works well for us. another good thing is that I can turn it into a twin bed when my kids get bigger. my daughter is currently in a toddler bed and my son in this crib so when the time comes for my son to progress to a toddler bed we can make this crib into a twin for our daughter. The crib itself is very sturdy, good quailty. I was impressed with the quality and the price compairedto other cribs I found on-line. I would deff. buy this crib again! easy to assemble and the directions are always with the crib/bed.
