These top clips are easy-peasy to step out of at traffic lights, etc. I find that I slide my feet into them almost all the time that I ride; it's so intuitive for me that I don't even consciously do it anymore. Another wonderful feature: I can wear any shoes that I want including monster "mickey mouse" boots that I wear in the dead of winter AND dress pumps when I'm going to the ballet or symphony. You can't do that with clipless pedals!
They attach best to standard platform pedals with a couple of screws. It takes about 5 minutes to mount them. Make sure you really tighten the screws as I lost one of them within about 2 months of first installing them and had to replace it at the hardware store. I retightened all attachment points good and tight and have never had a problem since.Read more ›
They only took a few minutes to attach to my pedals. I've been using them for about eight weeks with no trouble.
When I'm really climbing, I can feel the flex of the plastic. This doesn't present a problem for me, but I suspect a serious mountain biker would probably want something more rigid. But for riding to work; these are a great fit.
As soon as I put my feet inside the clips I could feel a difference. Yes, it does help you a lot when you pedaling. My pattern is now more uniform, and I'm inputting energy whether I'm pushing the pedal down or pulling up. It's very easy to take my feet out of them too, which is very importing if you bike in a area like NYC. It took me less than a few minutes to learn how to insert my feet in the clips and although this was my first ride with them I can do it without even looking down most times.
Also, I keep my right foot in when I have to stop and only take my left foot out, when it's time to start pedaling again I then insert my left foot. The good things is that if you have two-sided platform pedals when can pedal on the opposite side of the pedal just to get you going, and once you're moving again then you can proceed to insert your foot, so yes, very easy to use, and they do give you more speed.
If you do pedal on the the side opposite to the clips, do not do it on a curve, as you will scratch them against the pavement.
On this ride I was wearing sneakers, but I also put on my dressy shows size 10 (USA) while I was at home and didn't have any problem doing any of the things that I mentioned above.
In regards to the quality.Read more ›
For me these strapless clips work well. I tried Power Straps, but found them a little fussy to get in and out of, although they might work for someone else. I find these strapless clips are easy to get in and out of, and do enable the rider to get some power into the upstroke. Not as much as the clip-in pedals or toe clips with straps, but I am not Greg LeMond or Lance Armstrong with spandex multi-coloured tights, frog legs, and a $5000 dollar carbon fiber bike. These Delta Clips work fine for a casual rider like me on a recreational bike trail. I rate them four stars instead of five, because they are just barely big enough for my men's size 11 New Balance trail running shoes. I doubt if they would fit size 12 or larger.

These pedal clips are good. The material quality and integrity is good which is why I'm giving them three starts. Read morePublished 11 days ago by Laura E Flint
Bought these to replace a more expensive set that broke after years of use. So far these have worked fine. They are a little snug with some cycling shoes though. Read morePublished 1 month ago by CF
Very shallow and too flexible to be much use on your up stroke. All they do is crush your toes. I would not purchase again.Published 2 months ago by GD_NC
Bought these for my old hybrid and they fit when others didn't. Bought a new Novara mountain bike and transferred them because the Novara clips didn't fit on the Novara bike. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Tom T
