5.0 out of 5 stars well made, simple and effective October 23, 2011

this is a solid build unit. tubular metal is a good thickness. assembles is just a few minutes. and remarkably, the bikes just hang there... pretty sweet. This company also sells a cheaper model with a single vertical pole. I'm really glad I went with this one- once two bikes are on this thing, I can'[t imagine the single pole is substantial enough to really hold both bikes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great cost, easy to assemble and a great space saver September 13, 2012

I love this bicycle stand! The price is perfect, it was very easy to assemble and it saves space! My bikes no longer are in the way and taking up needed space! I have had my stand for almost a year now and it still works great! I just wish it was able to hold 3 bikes!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome and compact August 12, 2012

I have two aluminum road bikes that probably weigh no more than 20-25 lbs each. This bike rack is extremely functional and compact. I have it in a corner of my apartment. My bikes are much happier because they are not sitting outside in the elements all day. I was hesitant to buy it because some people had said that the frame was not sturdy and that the arms moves every time you put on or removed a bike. I don't know if I got an extra special item (highly doubtful), but I find this item to be very sturdy and the arms stay in place when I mount and dismount my bikes. There is some flex to the frame but it is minimal, after all, it's not a solid piece of metal. I highly recommend this item for you apartment dwellers and those looking to neatly store their bikes. Also, the rack itself is extremely lightweight so when it's time to move, it won't be a hassle to do so.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value, LIFESAVER! July 17, 2012

My husband and I live in a tiny apartment, and our bikes were always getting abused inadvertently because we simply had no where for them to be. This bike rack is sturdy, was easy to put together, and accommodated both my husband's fixed gear, and my more traditional mountain bike style with ease. I would highly recommend this product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stand for the Price November 28, 2011

I've been looking at stands and reading reviews for a few months searching for the stand that would work in our house. I was looking for stability (bikes are expensive), looks (it's in the house, not the garage) and price (I'm cheap).

What makes this stand so stable, in my opinion, is the bikes that it holds and the floor surface. I'm not putting a lot of weight on the stand. On the lower rack I've got my heavier aluminum framed road bike, which still weighs less than mountain style bikes or cruisers. Then on the top rack I've got my CF frame 16.5 lb. bike. That's less than 40 pounds on this stand. The stand base rests on a carpeted floor and against the wall, with no extra anchoring. The base being on carpet means it doesn't move anywhere. I remove and replace either bike and the stand stays firm. No wobbling or moving forward off the wall.

As far as looks, I've seen better. But not at this price. This looks very nice up against our light gray wall. And if you're going to store your bikes in the house this should be a consideration (especially if you're married). We already have 3 bikes and a car in our single car garage so the pitch to get this in the house had to be good. And after putting the bikes on the rack, it kind of looks like a work of art (beauty is in the eyes of the beholder).

But the price is the first reason I even looked at this product. It was a sub 60.00 stand with good and bad reviews. But all of the stands I was looking at through bike outlets and the local bike shops, started out at 100.00 and went up from there. I almost purchased one on sale for 75.00 before I thought of looking on Amazon. After reading reviews, I decided to give this one a try and couldn't be happier.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not quite as claimed June 21, 2011
By Jerry
The product does not quite match its picture, having a differently-shaped top piece. This isn't that big a deal (the difference is a slight design-improvement, in fact), but I already had another one in the same room, and it's a bit frustrating to have two side by side that don't match when the picture indicated that they would. The top pieces don't even interchange between the two models (6002 and 6003), which apparently are made at different factories, so asking the manufacturer for a new top piece won't address the issue. For some reason, the manufacturer sells the one model through bike shops and the other through large venues such as Amazon.
