Hi there. I bought this to store two bikes in a spare bedroom that were taking up a lot of floor space. One was a woman's cruiser, and the other a woman's hybrid bike (aluminum frame Trek). I tried to put the heavier cruiser on bottom and hybrid up top, but the rack just kept toppling over. Also, it was basically impossible to get the hooks to go in a good, supportive place on a woman's bike, I adjusted the hooks up and down several times trying to find a good placement. Since women's bikes don't have a straight crossbar on the frame, the rack just didn't work to hold the bike straight and not stick out of the wall at a weird angle. It seems like a decent quality product, but just not made for women's bikes. I'd say if you have two regular/ men's bikes w/ the crossbar that are road / commuter / lighter frame bikes, this will work, but otherwise, nope.

Well, I understood from some research that the bikes would hang off-axis on this rack due to the design of the paired support arms. Still, the tilt bothered me more than I thought it would. But the thing that has bothered me more is the fact that the main upright assembly itself is also crooked (on the unit I purchased at least), even when the bikes aren't on it. And it's really hard to figure out where the problem is (because it doesn't appear to be in the bottom welds. Anyway, I tried compensating for it by lengthening one of the legs (adjusting the assembly) and had no luck. Long story short: I haven't felt warm and fuzzy about this product, not like I was hoping to.

So, if you're just going to lean this in the garage to clear some clutter, no worries. But if you're going to have it displayed in an apt or interior space somewhere, I'd recommend spending more and getting the Delta Michelangelo rack. It's built more substantially and it'll answer your latent need for symmetry.

It's a great idea, a bike rack that needs zero drilling and saves space by having one bike above the other. However, it is so poorly produced that even when wrenched down and tightened it was still shaky. I wouldn't want to be around this thing in an earthquake. Also, it sticks so far out from the wall that I began to question how much space I was really saving.

Received this item in the mail today via Amazon prime. It is exactly what it looks like. It comes in a couple of pieces but assembles in less than 5 minutes with the included allen wrench. I have a 17lb Road bike on the top and ~30lb mountain bike on the bottom. It is on carpet currently but seems plenty sturdy.

Seriously, no special tools and finally have another 6' of space along the garage wall to actually hang tools. You do have to be smart about the incline, but I really love that I didn't need to put big holes in the wall, and I can easily move it around as my storage needs change.

Returned the first one because a pilot hole on one of the legs rusted over, thus the screw would not fit. I actually stripped it from trying to force it in. The replacement rack unfortunately has the same exact problem. Oddly enough 2 pieces have rusted over, to my surprise all the screw's fit, although inconsistently. It seems like an obvious manufacturing problem, "made in China, checked in USA",not sure whose fault this is. The issue I have is that it seems like a sturdy piece of equipment, but if you can't screw it together you can't use it. Every pilot hole is different some screws fit perfect, some are really tight, some are tight then loose, some are just loose all the way, this makes me question the overall longevity of the product, and whether this thing will stay together. Also why is the steel rusted in both products I received? The powder coating should have taken care of that. Well I haven't put it together yet, because I'm annoyed and writing this review, I'll update once its functionally in use.

Packaging was horrible. I received it half opened but that doesnt take away from the actual product. I have it in my apartment and it's such a space saver. Looks clean. Only thing I dont like about it s that the front wheel does not stay in place. I have a small apartment and the top bike always has the wheel turned and gets in the way. Other than that, inexpensive and works great! thank you

This rack works as advertized. Since mine is set up on a covered porch, I anchored the top to the wall stud. It holds my two bikes in about 1/3rd the space they occupied on the ground. I'm pleased.
