Customer Reviews

So glad you carried it.

Too bad the hose does not come with the o-ring for the hose inlet connection (under the sink) as the old clip seemed still ok.
Afew Reviews
I returned the hose and was sent a replacement, which was the exact same hose that I returned!

Highly suggest getting the new clip with the new hose, as it has a new o-ring to replace the old stiff one at the hose inlet connection that broke on me when removing it. Too bad the hose does not come with the o-ring for the hose inlet connection (under the sink) as the old clip seemed still ok. But I am glad I ordered the clip with the hose to get the new o-ring. Expensive pair of items, but cheaper and less work than a new faucet at this point. The inlet end of the new hose had its brass piece that slips over the o-ring slightly bent in, and I gingerly used a large drill bit to try to smooth it outwards...but not sure if I really moved it out at all.

I did not read the clip instructions before trying to get the old clip off, and I cut my knuckle under the sink trying to pull the clip off with some pliers on it. The instructions state that one has to stretch the clip forks apart to push it off (and on) the hose inlet parts. Their was some corrosion at the o-ring at the hose inlet that could render the connection bad, but it is holding the hose pressure so far. So if you can take the hose off before ordering to check the o-ring area for re-useability, and leave it off until a new hose (and o-ring) arrives (or maybe you can have success in slipping it back together?), that would give you a possibly crucial heads up as to whether or not you need to go for a new faucet.

I was worried about damaging the new o-ring. Getting the new o-ring into the groove required finding a highlighter pen that was slightly larger than the pipe, slipping the o-ring onto that, then quickly slipping onto the pipe (the smooth end of a large drill bit might work).

It was VERY HARD to find the right brand of hose I needed, especially since there is nothing on the hardware to identify it. Luckily, my business-manager-type spouse had kept the initial plumbing order from years ago and I then was able to locate the brand and type via internet search. The end connecting to the pipe was the kicker since its an "easy connect" for plumbers but not the standard out there at the hardware stores. Please note when installing this that you have to keep the slider/holder element (which you should have when you take off the old hose) and clip it with the larger band toward the bottom of the fitting. There are little inserts that keep it from falling off when the water is on. If you press these together before inserting it seems to work better. I had two "blowouts" before I figured this out, being the dumbest home do-it-yourselfer on the planet. Otherwise, this product, though expensive, did the job and we're back in business in the kitchen.

The hose assembly on my delta kitchen faucet became leaky (the flexible part of the hose was leaking). I pulled out my product insert to look up the part number, googled it, and found the part on Amazon. Before ordering this part, I called Delta Customer Service and asked about the warranty. Because I was the original owner (bought it in 2001, today is January 2013)and there is a lifetime warranty, Delta is sending me the hose assembly, clip & o- ring FREE OF CHARGE & NO SHIPPING. Life is Good! I would recommend Delta Faucets to anyone. They are a quality product with quality Customer Service.

I have a Delta model 474 pull-out kitchen faucet and the hose sprung a leak. The Delta diagram for this faucet calls out a part number RP44647. Amazon doesn't have photos of their Delta replacement hoses, just blurry drawings, so I looked around at other plumbing websites and found that the RP44647 uses a braided-plastic hose. My faucet has a metal spiral type hose and after some research I found my part number was really RP32527. It does appear that the connectors at the end are the compatible between the two part numbers. Anyway, I ordered RP32527 and the bag it came in **was** labeled RP32527, but what was inside was braided-plastic hose like RP44647. Also should mention that this is not a genuine Delta part, the bag says it came from a company called Coflex which is a South American plumbing supply manufacturer - could be the same company that Delta OEM uses, but the bag wasn't marked Delta so I don't know. Anyway, I need my sink and this is probably a losing battle, so I went ahead and installed the braided-plastic hose. Fit fine and it's leak free for now. We'll see how long it lasts.

After carefully looking searching, looking at diagrams, reading the descriptions and waiting for few days then ended up with exactly the hose I was avoiding was infuriating. It does not have the chromed (hence, "Chrome") metal cladding it suppose to have. What was sent was a re-labeled ColFlex hose with the gray non-metallic braids, if I wanted that, I could have ordered is for less than half the price. At least the old original labels were not removed, just labeled over so you can still read the other part numbers. Waste of time!!!

If you own a fancy Delta kitchen faucet, this is the thing you need. It snaps in place under the sink (you may want to order a new plastic clamp), and fits the nozzle perfectly. Absolutely none of the so-called universal replacement hoses at the nearby home centers or hardware stores will fit both ends -- even the ones that say they fit Delta.
Mere minutes to install. No adapters, no muss, no fuss, no leaks.
