delta RP32527 flex hose for kitchen faucet ok,

This review is from: Delta Faucet RP32527 Hose Assembly, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement)
Highly suggest getting the new clip with the new hose, as it has a new o-ring to replace the old stiff one at the hose inlet connection that broke on me when removing it. Too bad the hose does not come with the o-ring for the hose inlet connection (under the sink) as the old clip seemed still ok. But I am glad I ordered the clip with the hose to get the new o-ring. Expensive pair of items, but cheaper and less work than a new faucet at this point. The inlet end of the new hose had its brass piece that slips over the o-ring slightly bent in, and I gingerly used a large drill bit to try to smooth it outwards...but not sure if I really moved it out at all.I did not read the clip instructions before trying to get the old clip off, and I cut my knuckle under the sink trying to pull the clip off with some pliers on it. The instructions state that one has to stretch the clip forks apart to push it off (and on) the hose inlet parts. Their was some corrosion at the o-ring at the hose inlet that could render the connection bad, but it is holding the hose pressure so far. So if you can take the hose off before ordering to check the o-ring area for re-useability, and leave it off until a new hose (and o-ring) arrives (or maybe you can have success in slipping it back together?), that would give you a possibly crucial heads up as to whether or not you need to go for a new faucet. I was worried about damaging the new o-ring. Getting the new o-ring into the groove required finding a highlighter pen that was slightly larger than the pipe, slipping the o-ring onto that, then quickly slipping onto the pipe (the smooth end of a large drill bit might work). The plastic clip does go on the new hose inlet end first, with the top of the clip protruding into the hose end open gaps, and then is pushed over the o-ring in one step until it clicks into place. You can see that the clip is slightly tapered for slipping over the o-ring. For easier assembly, I used some silicone spray on the connections, o-rings, and hose tube. This allows parts to slide together and reduce friction that could cut o-rings, and the hose to slide past the bend in the tube and past the hot/cold pipes that make for a tight fit. Probably a little more cleaning of the faucet tube with a stiff bottle brush should have been done to clear out some slight mineral buildup. The hose was a tight fit with the inlet end of the hose being dropped/pushed down the tube, as the faucet sprayer end of the hose will not fit going upwards from below the sink. The weight on the old hose has to be removed with a phillips screwdriver and saved for the new hose. I think the proper position for the weight is a few inches above the under sink bend in the hose. I wonder if the other Delta faucet type#470? hose assembly that looks similar to this RP32527 would have worked, but I had the parts list that came with the faucet and it called out the RP32527. The new hose had a metal thread spinning into the faucet compared to the old hose's plastic threads. Hope this review helps you and that you will contribute to reviews of items that you buy.

Perfect Fit for Fancy Delta Kitchen Faucets,

If you own a fancy Delta kitchen faucet, this is the thing you need. It snaps in place under the sink (you may want to order a new plastic clamp), and fits the nozzle perfectly. Absolutely none of the so-called universal replacement hoses at the nearby home centers or hardware stores will fit both ends -- even the ones that say they fit Delta.
Mere minutes to install. No adapters, no muss, no fuss, no leaks.
