Got this on a whim....thought I would try it. It is very simple, and very functional. Has a few big pockets on front, which I like instead of a bunch of little ones. Had to do some reworking of the seat cushion. Dont like the way it folds to the inside. Big pocket on back...fits both of my decoys easy. The inner liner is VERY hot....here in south LA, turkey season is usually warm...so prepare to sweat in it.
Overall, excellent for the price.

I originally got this vest hoping to make it double as a turkey and upland bird vest. I found the functionality of the vest very good. Pocket layout was great for gear. However it required removing the vest to put the bird in the rear pocket. Lesson learned, when you only have 1 bird to shoot it works out very well. The built in seat is a nice feature, but also requires removing the vest to use or put away which is why I am giving it 4 stars. For the money it would have been hard to do better at 5 to 10 times the price. As for the quality of materials I dont think it will last as long as my $60 vest, but I bet this vest lasts for many hard seasons (making it a killer value in my book). The bird pocket is the same material as in every vest I looked at but the front pockets are lined with this cheap feeling water proof material. I feel this material will fail in a few years, but that will only make the pocket "not water proof." When it fails the pocket should still hold stuff.
