Very solid construction.

The leg bar is decently cushioned for sit-ups, but the crossbar that hold the cushions is a tad too small for the hole it goes through, so it wobbles a little.

My only qualm with it would be the height-- It's a bit tall, but really, that's okay.

PROS:
1.) Very Solid. Appears to be able support a lot of weight.
2.) Large range of angles. Plenty of selection from decline to flat to incline to military. The military (near vertical position) was slightly too low. I added one more hole with a drill and this bench is now perfect. I am happy the bench had enough range for this additional hole. Bench is fine without this modification.
3.) Great for decline presses. I bought this bench to be able to add declines to my my chest routine when at home, which already included flat and incline presses. My old bench would not decline. In theory, decline presses stimulate more chest muscles. Many benches (ironmaster and others) are very high at the foot/knee side when in decline position. I cannot imagine getting into a bench like that with heavy dumbells. This bench allows you to walk up with heavy dumbells, sit down, and then lean back into a decline bench position.
4.) Removable Foot holder keeps you from sliding down when in decline. These also make this bench great for decline situps. Out of laziness, I leave the foot holder in for flat and incline bench press since they are not in the way too much.

Recommendation: Tighten the main blots where seat and backrest pivot so that it almost feels tight to adjust. This takes any wobble out and gives an extremely solid feel.

I like this product. It is well-built and easily adjusted. I particularly like the wide stance of the base. It has much better stability than some other models I tested. Recommended.

This is my 4th bench, and expect it to be my last. Is a tad bit wobbly in the seat....not as sturdy feeling as benches u use at a gym, but it is great. I am very happy with my purchase. I seriously doubt this one will wear down and ever need replacing. The leg bar is decently cushioned for sit-ups, but the crossbar that hold the cushions is a tad too small for the hole it goes through, so it wobbles a little. Overall, great buy for home use.

i purchased this being exclusively for it versatility when doing dumbbell workouts. It fits the bill perfectly since it has a nice adjustment range for incline & decline. When using heavier dumbbells (50 lb+), my attention is not distracted by a wobbly unstable bench. My only complaint would be the assembly time. You can expect to spend at least 1.5 hours getting it all together, but I feel the bench is worth the price.

I was debating either purchasing this product or the bench from Ironmaster. I purchased this product because after you add some of the attachments needed to the Ironmaster bench, the price sneaks up on you. There are defiantly some drawbacks going with the cheaper option, but when all is said and done I would repurchase this product.

Pros: Bench has 9 adjustment positions for back and 3 for seat. So every workout from military press to decline press can be completed. Sturdy frame... very minimal shake. Easy to assemble.

Cons: Box was delivered barley intact. Small tear in leather back rest. Small chip in frame.

The main problems arise when the bench is fully declined. There is a space between seat and back rest. This is only becomes a problem when doing sit-ups. I'm 5'10'' 190lbs. If I adjust the padded foot bar to the highest level I can almost completely get my butt out of the gap, otherwise it's painful.

They also skimped on fabrication of the seat. The entire bench is very sturdy, except the seat. It's attached to a U-bracket that straddles the frame, with a pin that simply raises the seat to an incline. This is the only place on the bench that has some wobble. If you don't have feet locked into pads and you lay down into a decline the seat pops up, you slide off, and you bust your head.

I picked this bench based on price, reviews, and from what I could gather from the product description. It is very sturdy, which was a high priority for me. The bench does NOT include the tool required for assembly. This uses lock nuts which means you will need 2 tools and preferably a friend, but I was able to assemble it alone.

I bought this mostly for its decline option. Given the foothold and the decline, I was hoping to use this for situps. While it still works to some extent, I was really wanting more of a decline than it provides. Its hard to gauge from the photos, but the bench rests on the vertical black bar when it declines which takes away some of the pitch you might expect when laying the bench back. Also, the spacing in between the seat and the back cushion is a little uncomfortable for doing situps. However, I'm not too harsh on its overall score as it doesn't seem to be advertised as a situp bench... it just looks like it could be used as one.

The quality and design is well done on the materials and the assembly is very easy if you have the tools. (again, some of the bolts are difficult to get an angle on when you have to hold the bolt with one tool, while you turn the lock nut with another). I was a little disappointed in the material of the main bench. Its a very thin leather type material stapled to a very light and thin board. While not very alarming, it doesn't match the quality of the rest of the bench.

I did try shopping locally for a bench to get a better feel for what I was buying. It seemed benches in stores that came close to this benches sturdiness were 3 to 4 times the price. Overall I'm very happy, but was a little disappointed in the areas mentioned above. I'll try to make it fit other workouts, but I may have to splurge and buy a standalone situp bench.
