5.0 out of 5 stars A dog hair remover that really works
Tried it today. Really really works. I have hip & back problems and I did not have to exert pressure to push it on the vacuum wand. Had to empty Hoover wind tunnel 2 times because it got up so much hair from my Japanese Chin. My next option was to buy a case of Nair!!

Well I have to say I was expecting to return this right away but i am amazingly suprised at how well it works. I have two english bulldogs with short hair who shed alot in the summer time. I have recently purchased the Bissel Garage Pro wet/dry vacuum with with complete wall mounting system and use it like a central house vac with great success and although it did vacuum up the dog hair from my couch and hardwood floors quickly and effortlessly the carpet was slow and teadius.I realized i needed a differnt attachment than what came with the bissel and my multiple shopvac accessories. I obsesed and researched for hours on amazon, several outside websites and too many to google searches to count about what hair attachment I should buy. Some pet hair attachments were 70$$ and up and I really had no faith they would work especially after what i already had failed miserbly. I read all the reviews any looked over all pics and decided that they all looked somewhat the same but would any work at any cost? I almost bought the dyson version Knowing all dyson products work well but it was so much more and looked the same as the rest so ordered the lowest priced which was this item, fully ready to return if it also did not work well but to my surprise it kicks short dog hair butt!! Although it jams up on larger items it picks up the dog hair quickly and effeciantly and didnt vacuum out my wallet!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Very Powerful, May 11, 2010

This attaches to the vacuum hose attachment just fine (i.e., no loss of suction), but there isn't enough power there to keep the roller going. I bought this to use with rugs and on the couch. For the couch it's OK, but on rugs the roller will just stop turning unless you keep it moving. I got a different kind of brush (one by Eureka) and I don't have this same problem. I suspect that the roller unit is just too big so it doesn't maintain good suction. What I really want/need is a tool like this that is driven by a separate motor. i thought this would work and i'd do it on the cheap, but I got what I paid for, which is to say I got poor results.

I've only had it a week or so, but it seems to be built well. Fits my standard-sized vacuum with no problems and cleans my living room furniture very nicely. The product I received does NOT match the picture - the power paw I received has the rounded shape of a eureka power paw, but with a black lower part, clear top and green bristles - clear top part is nice as so you can always see the mechanism so you can tell that everything is working properly. I think it was a good buy and would recommend it.

I just bought one of these turbo tools and it works great with my new Sebo Felix. I think other reviewer must have used with some other vac which didn't have enough power. My old Hoover Windtunnel had a similar tool which never worked, but the Felix is another story. The Sebo removes pet hair from textured upholstery and allows me to vac behind stuff with tons of power. It's a life saver!
