I bought this costume for my baby's first Halloween and I was a bit disappointed with it. It did not look exactly like the item that is depicted in the photograph - the peas were much smaller and the colors were off. It wasn't TERRIBLE but it wasn't what I thought I would be getting. The deal breaker for me was when I went to put it on my son who is just under 4 months old and the costume was too short for him. This outfit is supposed to fit children up to 9 months of age and my son is not overly tall (he's 25"). I don't think I will be buying costumes from this store again...

Ordered this direct from Amazon, and was very happy with it. Looked as exactly as shown in the picture. You will see a couple reviews on here about the costume not looking exactly as in the photo. I think this is because they ordered it from one of the merchants on here besides Amazon. If you look at the reviews for some of those vendors, you will see complaints about the product not being completely as advertised, or sold out, or shipped late. Look under "more buying options" and order directly from Amazon, and you will have no such problems. Yeah, maybe it will cost one dollar more. But its worth it, Amazon is so reliable about sending the correct item and on-time. So why risk ruining your holiday just to save a dollar or two?

Costume is very cute, but does run a bit small. It fit our 6-week old baby with some room to spare, but I don't see any way that it would fit a baby that is 9-months old, or 6-months for that matter (depending on whether you read the product title, or the description - they don't match - one says up to 9 months, the other says 6 months). If I were to guess, I'd say it will fit from newborn up to 3 or 4 months (depends on how big your baby is for their age, of course). And the cap is pretty snug, even on our 6-week old, who is a bit on the petite size for her age, about 7-1/2 lbs.

The material is not the highest quality, but if you've ever purchased this type of costume garment before (such as an adult or kids costume) you know what to expect. Its a light felt or fleece like material, made to only withstand a couple uses. The costume held up fine to a hand washing, and dried flat, since we wanted to wash the costume before putting out baby in it. The peas attach with velcro, which is actually pretty handy, so you can remove the peas, and still strap your baby in a car seat without them getting it the way. And there is a opening in the back, so you can bring the babies legs out of the bunting, which is also very handy for strapping into a car seat or stroller. Overall, we were very satisfied with this costume.

The bunting section of the costume was very cute, but the hat was too small for my two-month-old even though the size suggests the costume should fit until six months. Just a warning to other parents of big-noggined babies.

I put my 7 month old twin girls in this costume for Halloween. The two peas in a pod were a big hit!!!! Everyone loved it. The costume was easy to put on too. I highly recommend this costume for singles or multiples!!!!

I bought this for my seven month old to wear on Halloween but it was really tight, and she's a small girl! The cap was WAY too small, it would probably fit a newborn.

My baby was 14 pounds, and just barely fit. I sent it back. It was also really flimsy material. I'd be worried about washing it!

in the description it says this costume is 0-6 months not 1-9 like in the title, perhaps that is why reviewers are having so much trouble with fit

This was a great costume for a 2 1/2 month baby - kept him nice and warm! The item came in plenty of time for Halloween.

This costume was decent for the price, soft thin fleece that was pretty easy to put on. However, our 6 week old, 10lbs 22inch baby was almost too big for it, not sure how it could fit a 9 month old.

We bought this for our 2 month old, and he was almost too big for it. He's 50th percentile in height/weight, so I'm fairly certain most 9 month olds would not fit in it. The materials are cheap, but that was expected. The "peas" on the costume were a little smaller than the picture which in my opinion makes the item not quite as cute. Definitely do not purchase this for a child much older than 3 months!
