This review is from: Deluxe dSLR Zoom Camera Holster for Canon EOS Models 7D / XS / XSI / XT / XTI / MARK II / 5D / 7D / 10D / 20D / 30D / 40D / 50D / T1i / T2i / 350D / 400D / 450D / 1000D (Electronics)
The style of this dSLR holster is what caught my attention. I've been looking for a case for my EOS XS for about two months. I finally settled on this one because of two reasons. Style & practicality. This case looks leaps and bounds better than any other case i've seen that fits the XS. 1 Point. The case also holds ALL of my gear that i bring with me (battery grip, film, one EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM). 2 Points. Happy with my investment thus far.

I spent hours on the web searching for a small or holster style bag that would fit both my new Canon 500d/ t1i and the Canon BG-E5 battery grip attached to the camera. Based on the first and only review, I took a chance and bought this one. It's a tight fit on the top and bottom, but still leaves enough room on the sides for your hand to fit in and grip the camera body. The attached camera strap fits better below the camera inside the bag, but not so great on top of the camera. I have uploaded a picture here if you are curious.I love this bag though! I am so surprised how much of my gear also fits along with the camera and attached battery grip. It seems very balanced standing up on its base with gear packed inside. I plan on taking this bag along with me to Japan and Thailand this Christmas and will follow-up afterwards.

A WELL DESIGNED SLR BAG WITH A TIGHT FIT,

When I first viewed this bag on Amazon, it looked fantastic-i.e. superior design and excellent capacity and space. Now that I have it, I would only limit my first comments as regards to the space. It has a tight fit for my EOS D7 with its 18-250mm zoom lens. My wide angle lens fits snuggly into one of the side pockets, but the lens shade must be stored under the suspension sling. I use the other lens pocket to store the battery charger, extra battery, and a Satechi timer. The zippered pocket holds an extra Compact Flash card and a polorizer filter. Even though I wish it had more space for accesories, I am happy with the bag. It is definitely superior to most other bags of its kind. If I had researched the Accessory Power product line more carefully, I probably would have spent the extra 15 bucks for their Fortified dSLR Defender Case which holds three lens and a few more accessories.

First of all, this bag is made of excellent material and I love the compact form. The hammock design is very cool and provides easy access to the camera. The few drawbacks are:1. I can get my Canon 70-200 F4L lense in the side pocket but can't zip it. Wish the pockets just a bit more deep. 2. No place to put my lense hood. 3. the strap seem a bit narrow. I'm always adjusting the shoulder pad so it will rest on my shoulder. Never the less, it's still my favorite bag so far and I would recommend getting it.

Great camera bag for a DSLR plus two lenses and other accessories. Easy to get items in and out and great protection for the camera. Good value as well...I searched far and wide before deciding on this case.

I needed a bigger holster case for DSLR and I purchased this case with the hope that it would be accommodate my larger DSLR (a Canon 7D) and a few lenses. First off the area for the camera has the hammock system which provides good support for the camera. The only problem I ran into was getting the camera in and out of the case. I have lenses with lens hoods on backwards (for storing purposes), and the hammock system makes it difficult to get the camera in and out of the case (paritcularly getting the camera out). As for the two side compartments which are described as "large for storing lenses" are not large enough for most lenses. I do have a small 30mm prime in one side, but it takes a bit of work to get the lens in and out of this compartment. This is a good holster case, I just believe the description of this case is a bit misleading. The side compartments are not as large as described, they are more suitable for storing accessories then storing lenses. The base of this case is particularly nice, it allows the case to stand up without any problems. I am happy with this case, but I was hoping that it would have a bit more room for additional lenses.

This bag is a great bag... however it is too SMALL. I love the design and the feel of the bag. It is lightweight and the shoulder strap is very comfortable. I would suggest this bag as a second bag to take on shoots but not a great primary bag. I have a Canon t2i which is one of the smaller camera's the bag is designed for. I couldn't imagine one of the larger camera's fitting in the bag. You also wouldn't be able to add a camera grip even with my camera and have it zip. Now on the search for the perfect fit. I still have a love for Case Logic bags :)

Very handy and very well made. I had used this brand of bag, it was the small one. It is padded in all the best places and I feel that my camera has the best protection it can. I had to have something for my lenses, and this bigger one with is two little lens holders on the sides is the perfect bag for me...

After purchasing my new Canon EOS 7D, i didn't want to take it out of the house without first buying some kind of camera case/bag. Did my own research prior to purchasing this bag. Seemed cautiously pleased by other reviewers. It has room for lenses and sundry items as others have reviewed. Sadly my 7D barely fits inside the camera compartment with the its canon 28 - 135mm lense attached. So, I know that when I add the Canon BG-E7 grip,it WILL NOT fit in this compartment. That was the main reason for the purchase. I might keep it for peripheral items but will not use it as a main bag. It may fulfill the need(s) for owners with smaller camera bodies. Just be aware that the space is tight with many [Canon] body/lense combinations, but nix it for user with an added battery grip as it will be a little frustrating.Summary: To be fair, it is a quality bag for taking out for smaller tasks. Keep in mind though that a fit for your camera will be difficult with bigger bodied cameras, esp with a corresponding battery grip. Cheers.

This bag is to small for the Canon 50D. If you have the battery extender on you can not fit any lens in the side pockets. If you do not have the battery extender on you can not have the camera straps on. It is a nice sturdy and quality bag. Just not a good fit for the canon 50D
