I purchased this product because the description says it is for the Aiptek A-HD+ Camcorder. There is no way, NO WAY, this tripod was designed for camcorders, let alone that camcorder. The pan and tilt is not fluid, it stutters more than Colin Firth in the King's Speech. As everyone who owns an Aiptek knows, there is basically no image stabilizer so in order to capture a good image you have to be as steady as possible. This tripod is NOT, I repeat, NOT designed for a camcorder without an image stabilizer, let alone any camcorder period. Oh yeah, and the design is so cheap it literally looks and feels like something I could buy at toys r us. At least I got a microfiber cloth with it.

I was looking for an easy-to-use tripod for my son's Aiptek HD video camera. This was the right choice. The leg clips make the tripod easy to put up and take down. The various other adjustments are convenient

The company also sent a lens cleaning cloth and case of straps. I think it is a good deal for the money.
