Great, inexpensive skate bag,

Pros - inexpensive, roomy enough for adult skates, extra zip pocket, drainage grommets, sits nicely on shoulder, can be used for ice skates or roller blades.
Cons - water pocket only fits a single-use bottle, and the pink is more like a bubble gum color -- kind of icky. Hopefully in the next rev of this bag they will redesign the water bottle pocket as so many people are using larger, reusable bottles. Avoid the pink, and you will probably be very happy, esp. for the price compared to other skate bags.

Perfect for Ice Skaters,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I love my bag. My skates fit perfectly. And there is room for the other things I bring to the ice arena, like water, extra laces, MP3 player, a snack if I want. It's easy to carry and adult skates fit in each compartment perfectly. I highly recommend the bag to any skater.

We own three of these bags BUT.....,

Our family recently purchased 3 of these bags and two of them are holding up great but one of them I had to return to the pro shop less than a week after we bought it because the clasp that attaches the strap to the d ring snapped off. I have no idea how that happened. It was our 5 year olds bag so she very well could have stepped on the clasp causing it to snap but still if the clasp can't stand up to a 5 year old then I am not sure just how long the other two bags will last. Having said that and knowing how much other bags cost I would still buy these bags again. They serve their purpose for toting skates to and from skating lessons twice a week. If I needed bags for daily use though I would probably upgrade to a sturdier bag.

Served well for 14 months...,

I've had this bag (not purchased from Amazon) for 14 months. I love the bag itself, I have a bright blue one and it's very cheerful. It's roomy enough for my skates and guards, plus the extra zipper compartment is big enough for my gloves, socks, skating pants, and even my light jacket rolled up. The outside compartments are handy for carrying punch cards, money, a beverage, keys, cell phone, etc.
The only complaint I have is that about 2 months ago I noticed the bottom was tearing, where the skate blades rub on the canvas. I put fabric down inside each skate compartment so the blade doesn't come in direct contact with the canvas, and we'll see how long that holds up. The rest of the bag has held up very well.

Nice design, but doesn't hold up,
This review is from: A&R Deluxe Ice Skate Bag (Misc.)
The bag is very roomy, accommodates my large 11-1/2 skates. I skate 3 to 4 time a week. I'm on my second bag now. The strap isn't sewn in very well and pulls out after a few months. After purchasing my second bag I made some modifiations to it. I took the strap from my first bag and sewed it from the bottom of the bag, up the side and out the top. The original design has the strap sewn at the very top edge up the bag, not a good idea. This bag has lasted me about a year, although it is starting to come apart where the straps are sewn to the bag. I don't think the material they use is all that great. I have a scba diving bag made of the same material. It holds more weight and receives rougher treatment and is still holding up after many years.
