I purchased this item because I have a Y-leg style of ironing board and a large iron. Most of these holders I could find are designed only for the T-style ironing board leg. The previous holder we had also would not accommodate our larger iron, so we needed to replace it. I liked the idea of the places for the sizing/starch spray cans too.

When I received this item I felt it was flimsy and awkward. It still is, but it does function for the purpose. The iron must be cool before storing but it does accommodate the larger size irons. To get the legs into position you must angle it and insert one leg first, then the other.

My ironing board is off the floor & iron off the shelf. It's wonderful to have everything so organized in one place. LOVE IT.
