My buying experience through amazon and the marketplace here was fantastic. It is the best price I have seen for this. The shipping was fast and everything worked out there. My biggest issue is that I don't think I really wanted this item. I would have preferred Black, but they only offered the gray. I just bought an SD-3500IS. I understood (incorrectly) that this was the only case Canon offers to fit it. I think it looked like a cheap plastic. I did not care for the ripple wave effect. It was OK. I think overall, it is more than a bit feminine. I would still have used it, if I didn't get lucky and find that the PSC-55 does fit the SD-3500IS (snuggly, but acceptably). I won't be using this case after all.

Sadly this case does not fit the new PowerShot ELPH 500 HS.

Although on the Cannon site it recommends this item as a case for this new camera. The top flap does not even close over the case when the camera is inside. It is a way too tight fit for the camera and does not even close completely.

Hopefully Cannon will make a new case for this new sized camera soon. Especially since it is all touch screen.

Otherwise, this is a nice case for a camera that will fit in it.

This case has a very soft interior, and hard resistant exterior. It does protect the camera well.
Thing is, I hardly ever used it because it adds to much size to the camera, and it doesn't fit in my pocket anymore, and I'm not the kind of person who would wear this on a belt (it has a belt-ready attachment on the back).

Nice case, good price. Only problem is taking the camera out is kind of hard. My case for my old camera opened lengthwise so you pulled the camera out by the wrist strap. With this one you have to pull the strap around and up. No big deal, it's durable and looks nice. Happy with the purchase

Handy carrying case for camers ~~ with just a couple of short-comings. No extra room to store an extra battery and/or charger and no padding for traveling bumps. Other than that, it is just fine but I believe I will use my old camera case most of the time.

Although a nice case, it did not fit a Powershot SD990 Digital ELPH. It would not fold over and snap. It's not a clip on to the belt, however it is a slip on to the belt so if you are traveling and you camera is put away it less likely to get snatched so easily.

It is really a great product. The only preference that I would have is that there should be a "clip on" or similar, so that you can attach it to your pants. For now it fits only on belts.
