i tried the apple cover and it was just not to my liking so i returned it. i like the color of the ipad and also have a white iphone, so i wanted a white case as well. i find it odd that apple does not make a white case (only black). but anyway, this case came up in my amazon search and i decided to try it. i specifically wanted a case with a kickstand - something that would allow me to type with the ipad on my lap at an angle. it also assists with grip. though i have never dropped my ipad, it feels like it may be a little slippery.
i would definitely recommend this case.

I recommend this product. This is my first review ever.. what motivated me to write a review was the fact that some people either are receiving different products or are absolute snobs!
Anyone thinking that they would get true leather for 7 bucks is hopeful to say the least.
Im a college student and i didnt feel like spending 40 bucks for a damn case. holy crap.. thats a rip off. unless its apple having the brand name is well worth the 35 dollar fee (sarcasm). The same utility can be accomplished for a quarter of the price. Ive had the case for about 2 weeks and everything is still holding together. stitching is good, top clip is good, and its nice how it has magnets to keep things shut and the kickstand from getting in the way.
bottom line: you get what you pay for and in this case you get the same utility as a more expensive case but pay 1/4th the price. hells ya.. Money in the BANK!
