After recently purchasing new home theater seating, the next step was to get a home popcorn machine. The kids were excited about getting a popcorn machine and we settled on the 6oz Paramount machine with the matching cart. The machine also comes in a 4oz and 8oz versions, but for only about $30 more than the 4oz machine, we could get make 50% more popcorn with the 6oz machine. You won't regret the cost of spend a little extra money to get the 6oz machine.

The cart and popcorn machine arrive in two separate boxes and the caft requires assembly, but it is so easy! My daughter and I had it together in no time at all. The popcorn machine is then attached to the cart, and then you attach the kettle, screw in the stirrer, plug everything in and you're ready to go!!

After warming up the kettle, simply pour the pre-packaged oil, salt, and popcorn into the kettle and you're poppin'. The aroma it makes smells so good throughout the room! One recommendation: use only half the salt in the pre-packaged pouches, as we found the popcorn to be a little salty when you use all of the salt. The machine is easy to wipe clean and I would recommend using just soap and water. The crumb/old maid tray is also a great feature to help clean your machine. Couldn't really evaluate the warming light and deck warmer as the popcorn seemed to disappear as fast as we made it!!

The machine is well constructed and comes with a five year warranty, which is important. We had a couple of spokes on one of the wheels that were damaged during shipment and the seller sent out a replacement wheel at no charge the day after I contacted him by email. Quick and efficient response!!

Overall, we are very happy with our choice of this machine and would recommend it to anyone looking to get a very nice looking and functioning home popcorn machine without spending a fortune.

We use the machine all the time now and microwave popcorn is a thing of the past!!

This was a gift for my husband from me and all our kids at Christmas. He absolutely loves it! It is a great looking machine and makes wonderful popcorn. We love the gold rimmed wheels, and the storage compartment in the cart holds all the popcorn supplies perfectly. Easy cleaning was important to us, and this cleans up easily and beautifully every time. We use it at home and over at our church for our Bible Studies and game nights. It is a perfect size for our family, yet handles a crowd with ease as well. All of us are delighted with this purchase!

I have read and agree with the previous 2 reviews, so will try not to be too redundant. I had purchased another machine (different manufacturer) before this one for nearly the same price but it was flimsy, had broken parts, and the stirring mechanism didn't work in the kettle so I returned it. The Paramount Entertainment machine is far superior in every way and the most important way...it actually works! The machine was easy to assemble and we used popcorn kernals and oil rather than buying the pre-packs, but I have used the pre-packs in school PTA popcorn machine and they are pretty handy and flavorful.

Would highly suggest purchasing the cart to store the supplies in rather than just buying the counter top model. Also, the 6 oz popper is a good size - one batch fed my family of six and only took a few minutes to pop.

Also, the machine was carefully packed in 2 boxes, but we had an issue where the door of the cart had the "popcorn" logo printed upside-down. I emailed customer service and they promptly shipped a replacement door. Great customer service! I'm happy with this purchase.
