This review is from: Deluxe Stainless Steel Bakeware Set with Jelly Roll Pan, Cookie Sheet and Cake Pan (Kitchen)
I'm in the process of replacing ALL my Teflon-coated and oil-stained aluminum bakeware with stainless steel products. Expensive, yes, but not prohibitively so if one purchases items made in China, such as these. I bravely purchased 2 sets and, upon opening the box, was immediately skeptical; they were much thinner than I'd anticipated. However, I cranked up the oven to 450 degrees F & heated a couple pieces of pizza on a jelly roll pan & cookie sheet to see what would happen. Both of the sheets warped after a couple of minutes. But like my other stainless steel bakeware (thin, made in China), they resumed their normal state of flatness when they cooled & all I had to do was soak the burnt cheese (there was a lot of it... momma likes her cheese) in hot water for a while & rub a little baking soda/water paste on the oil stains. The pans look as shiny as they did out of the box (side note: the 8" X 8" pan isn't as shiny as the sheets).
So I do recommend this bakeware set for people 1) on a budget; 2) needing bakeware that can be spotlessly cleaned after multiple coatings of Pam, butter, burnt cheese, and other oily products.

Still using this set and still pleased... HOWEVER--I have noticed that stainless steel seems to conduct heat differently than my old aluminum bakeware. I'm still baking on the middle rack, but when I make frittatas the sides and bottom of the egg mixture do not brown and crisp up quite as much as they did with the aluminum and teflon coated pans. Same for bar cookies. Guess it's a learning process. Still highly recommend this set to the abovementioned population.

Seller and product not recommended, January 6, 2011
This review is from: Deluxe Stainless Steel Bakeware Set with Jelly Roll Pan, Cookie Sheet and Cake Pan (Kitchen)
This set is a mixed bag. The jelly roll pan is a fairly good quality, but the cookie sheet (the one with three sides) is really flimsy. It bends and moves easily when you hold it. It warped to a rather extreme degree when I put it into a 300-degree oven, is that normal? It did flatten out later, when out of the oven. Both of these pans unfortunately came with scratches on them, and a couple of small negligible dents.
The cake pan was sturdy in the fact that it doesn't wobble when you hold it. But it's very light weight, as if it were aluminum, and it arrived with two dents (!), one of which I couldn't fix. Not a nice mold for making cakes.
Obviously this set wasn't handled right by the seller--or the seller didn't package it appropriately. Not that I'm going to complain about the seller here.
In addition to ordering this set, I ordered individual cake and bread pans to replace my aluminum and nonstick bakeware. What I found is that the best quality stainless steel cake pans and bread pan is made by Norpro. The metal is very thick, and I don't think you could dent them if you tried.
Norpro 8-Inch Stainless Steel Cake Pan
As for a quality cookie sheet, I can make no recommendations, as I'm on the lookout for one myself.
