I have to say, I'm more impressed with this kit than I thought I would be. The box is smaller than I had imagined (for some reason I thought it was large just from the picture), but it holds everything you might need and doesn't take up much space. I was also surprised that most of the products inside are made for humans, but their purpose carries over perfectly well for almost any mammal, large or small. There are even charcoal tablets for accidental poison ingestion and packets of honey for emergency hypoglycemia.

The only thing I think could be improved on was the tweezers, which were plastic rather than metal and made in China. I wouldn't want to use them more than once because I don't trust plastic to sanitize well. Still, the rest of the kit earns the five stars!

I know I'll feel much safer for my ferret and cat with this in the house; even though I hope I never have to use it, it's better to be safe than sorry... and it helps quell the worst-case-scenarios constantly running through my head. It's cheaper than buying the items separately (which is what I was going to do in the first place) to boot, too! =) I definitely recommend this to anyone with a mammalian pet.

It took a long time to get here but it looks to be great kit. Its an emergency kit so I have no first hand knowledge about quality and hopefully, never will. But I'm glad we have it in the house just in case. I would recommend everyone have one.
