Demand horizon is necessary reading if you're in a position of developing products.

If you've ever been caught between "deliver what consumers demand" and "how can consumers demand what they don't know is possible" then you need to read Demand Horizon.

It offers a road map for discovery and working through consumer unknowns bringing predictability to the world of innovation.

If you’re looking for clear, actionable advice for the next generation of product development - this is that book.

Over the past 15 as the search industry has evolved and refined, I've had the chance to compete or collaborate with several of Gerry's companies.

Demand Horizon is a very impressive book for a search veteran. It's more than a history of his innovations, successes and challenges in the search sector. He breaks down which factors led to which successes and which challenges were insurmountable in companies and divisions he has run. He then extrapolates how his own personal experiences and strategies play out in other companies.

Gerry sets out to expand the ability of the product manager to see beyond the horizon of currently predictable trends. Competition is no longer just defined by being an innovator or fast follower. Demand Horizon approach is the idea of seeing further in advance for emerging products by analyzing demand before it has expressed in an emerging market, and knowing further in advance prior to the plateau and even decline of product lifecycle.

Gerry's industry experience is very well established. What is surprising is the humility and openness with which he reveals his Kung Fu to his readers.
